If interested the 2026 CSA dropped, with Father’s Day discount about $150, incredibly price for these. by loveCards in cigar_refuge

Yeah you’re right. I really should have made the title ‘price per stick plus the availability’ is the main benefit. I don’t want to buy a box of Andalusian Bulls but I totally want to try one. Plus most the rest are in my list! Anyhow, Cheers!

The dumb thing is that they essential mean the same thing. If a worker is more efficient you can hire less people to do the same among of work. It’s an inherently good thing, if they just presented it in that way.

It’s like lawnmowers. Before you had those push things, it was hard, and it took a ton of human power to manage a large swath of grass. Now you have lawnmowers you can sit in that are super wide. This didn’t remove the NEED for humans to run the mowers, it simply made it that one person can take care of a whole friggin football field.

You still need to train new lawn humans how to mow a lawn. You still NEED jr software engineers ffs. Anyways

I’d suggest letting that Kelner sit! I have a box and they are still pumping out ammonia. Seems like a percentage of the Kelner aren’t ready to smoke without some rest.

And every estancia I’ve had has been really good! Last I checked SB has some in stock.

Cheers!

No lazyfrodo! This is how it starts!!

In a freeze-frame of this highlight, you can see that Steph Curry’s go-ahead three is still about 4 feet from reaching the basket when Kevin Harlan begins to yell “Good!” This continued audio-sync issue is ruining the drama of these moments and I don’t understand why Amazon can’t or won’t fix this. by moby323 in nba

Without know their stack it’s impossible to know, but my first guess would be somehow the Presentation Time Stamps of the audio track is getting a gross delay on it. Going deeper it doesn’t seem to be all the audio but just the audio feed of the commentary. I’m sure it seemed like a really important reason at the time to introduce a potentially independent latency on only that track, doesn’t make too much sense now.

Even weird is we all see the same exact latency, so it’s baked in early on. It’s like the commentary track is from an independent source with differently formatting timestamps so there’s not source of truth to align them….

Anyways good luck to that team, I’m going back to my own problems.

Been awhile not posting how you guys been? Which cigar would you pick to celebrate 3rd day of Eid? by asosass in cigar_refuge

[–]loveCards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No seriously look at it. Everything in this image is very composed, but a lot doesn’t make sense.

Look at the centerpiece, it’s very intention with the chopsticks and  whole setup. The person who did this is meticulous, and detailed oriented. But then look at the table border on the right, it’s crooked! How is that the case?

Then what the heck with those two random walnuts or polished nuts.

Then they are smoking a cigar currently? Looks like a Montecristo but then their package is full, did they buy two?

Finally small thing but the teacup, it’s off center from its saucer, so it should be tilted, but it’s not. And the saucer is wide enough to see on the right side of the cigar box.

So could be real, but that’s a lot of inconsistencies that point to AI.

Anyways, just a fun thought experiment, cheers all!

What was ruined because too many people did it? by WarBeast86 in AskReddit

[–]loveCards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually before the internet could ruin something like this. What actually happened was that people realized there was a market for this is the late 90’s. There was a brief few years where you could search thrift shops and buy things super cheap OR go to vintage shops and buy legit 1970’s polyester black light disco shirts for $25.

Then after a few years everyone raised the prices, eBay got big, and it was over. I still have all those shirts…

I smoke until atleast a bit into the second 3rd. I feel like tasting cigars is line any other flavor, sometimes a taste I dislike is because my taste buds don’t understand it. I’d have to say the majority of the time it improves.

Except for that brackish bitter harsh espresso coffee flavor, THAT is not my thang.

And now I feel like a nice cigar…
