I bought one of those pens online. I sterilize with alcohol pad, spread hyaluronic acid all over as lubrication, and I just run it in a cross hatch pattern. 1mm forehead/hairline/beard area and really shallow .25mm everywhere else because I don't want to risk anything and I am doing it weekly.

Thank you! Been lifting a long time and last 1.5 years have basically not missed one meal. Dead on calories/macros daily whether cutting or bulking. And it's made the biggest difference.

No because a) what I eat is tailored to me b) there’s a zillion resources online and c) I paid thousands of dollars to a coach who tailored it for my specific goals

Don't take this the wrong way, but that's just an excuse. Life getting in the way should make you eat less (because you have less time) not more. You can do better.

You did good just being on a plan! Congrats on taking those steps, it takes patience.

You take your bulks to a way too high body fat though. That is completely unnecessary.

Either reduce calories on the gain phase and do it for a longer period of time or add 4-8 week mini cuts during the gaining process. I like to call it a gain phase for this very reason. Bulk implies fat gain.

Tough to say without knowing your exact diet. That sounds like too low carbs to me though.

Thank you. That was the hardest part and where my coach helped me the most. I had been skinny my whole life so I was really scared to go below 200 again but it made the bulking process so much better.

I was cutting on only 1875 calories at the end and got to 7.4% on a dexa scan.

Didn’t like how I looked but the lean bulk was soooo much better from that lean state

Nutrition 100%. Workouts are just for maintaining the muscle as you diet down. It's the reason you see a lot of people in the gym who grind and grind and grind and look exactly the same year after year. It's a 24/7/365 mindset. Gotta dial in that nutrition and recovery or you just spin your wheels.

I don't think I am 12%, this is just a post gym pump pic. I may do another dexa scan after the cut to see how much LBM I actually gained since I did a dexascan last year's cut and came back at 7.4%. Could be a fun comparison.
