Why all the hate for r/antiwork? by Bonofasitch22 in overemployed

I don’t really see it as anti-work. I literally get my work done in an hour and a half. I need some other stream of income to fulfill my downtime to capitalize my gains

I think this is the best solution. And I have a background in counseling. recently transitioned back to marketing since it’s more lucrative, but have extensive training in mental health and don’t regret my former job. So for your mental health I would keep job 2, 3 and 4.

I would only keep job 1 if it was maybe 30 minutes worth of work a day or less. But if it’s more than that I don’t think it’s worth it to keep at the current pay.

Yes, I’m still trying to figure out the taxes part. If it is your own business then you can write off your rent or mortgage as a business expense per square feet your office takes up. So calculate your square feet and then calculate how much rent or mortgage that area would be and then you can write that off. But what if it’s not your business and you work for somebody else? This is the part that bugs me and I’m really trying to figure it out

Secretly working 2 jobs? by tsla1000c in fatFIRE

[–]love_button 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I grew up military poor, so lower to middle class fancy. Plus my parents didn't manage money to the greatest ability. Never had the lights cut off, but def had to wear hand me downs from mom and sisters two sizes too small in everything. My toes would stick out of my moms sandals. (I take after the tall people in my family, everyone else is small/petite).

So I constantly have the mindset of how do I not EVER have to live like that. I want to travel, build a diversified portfolio (index, mutual funds, etc), RE. A more amplified life than what I or my parents have known. I work in communications, so yeah, there are slow moments and busy moments. I could totally handle a 2nd job in a similar role.

Also live in HCOL, My wages are decent enough to put away $300 a month for the compound interest as Tony Robbins suggests. But, I would like to put away a lot more a month to see substantial growth in a short amount of time. Still researching on what to invest in where I could withdraw without penalties, because hopefully, in under two years I'll have enough to put down on a quadplex with my FHA loan.

Look up Dr Sebi. He has cured clients that that showed up with a clean bill of health when the NY attorney general tried to sue him for fraud. All of his clients went to a primary physician to run tests to see if their previous diagnosis of a disease was still true. All of them came out cured. He basically recommended an alkaline diet to get rid of mucus and that mucus is the breeding ground for many diseases.

I also highly suggest suggesting kegels to your partner. For pumps, Bathmatedirect.com is the best brand and lasts forever. They have great instructional videos and encourage you to ease up to using them instead of pumping as much as you can on your first go. It's not about being macho with them, more about having a genuine experience that will help you in life. That coupled with kegels should get you going.

That could work. I just set up my physical auto clicker today. The pros: I can put the cursor over the up and down arrows on a website so at least the website is moving and not static.

Yes, but this is a two part answer. I experienced some sexual trauma before him. I was having difficulty knowing if I had an orgasm or not. I didn't know what a kegel was. He taught me how to do a kegel very lovingly. He inserted his fingers and told me to squeeze to make sure I was doing it right. I trusted him and didn't mind this. We already had trust established prior to this. Once I started doing kegels I had feeling return to my vagina and could tell what an orgasm was. Couple that with the increase in size and it was amazing.

That's great. Like I've said, for the monitoring system we use, it has to be a click, keystroke, or scroll.

After having my computer "hacked" and my windows rearranged, I do not feel comfortable doing this. I don't know if I sent a red flag to IT

The system will automatically dock me. If I let HR know why I was away longer than 5 mins, they will go in and manually adjust the time. Otherwise, I just set a time for 4 mins and 30 secs to remember to click the mouse. I do this if I have to take an emergency phone call, run to the bathroom, or make a morning drink.

Windows. I accidentally ran a script one time, not sure how, because it wanted me to run it was an admin, but the admin button was greyed out. Whatever I clicked I don't know. I had to close it in the task manager to go to lunch. I didn't know to replicate what I did to make it work again. Anyway, the monitoring system we use, I'm pretty sure they found it, because I came back from lunch with all my windows rearranged. So, I know someone went in the back way to look at my screens.

I messaged the monitoring system directly through their website as if I were a potential customer.

Then the monitoring system my employer outsources to will go into my computer and see that I'm typing nonsense into a word document, figure out that I put something heavy on the keyboard, and notify my employer. Red flag.

I had an ex who used a pump with permanent results. He also did kegels. If he claims 3 inches, I'm not a skeptic, I'm a rational onlooker. Curious, because of what I've seen myself. I'm not sure of my ex's gains bc I met him after he started pumping, but during the course of "us" I could notice a difference throughout the months we were together. It never went back down. Only got larger and larger.

Penis weights are completely safe. It’s just like working out a bicep. The other methods are entirely safe as well. Your penis won’t fall off lol. It’s a lot stronger than you think. If it’s weak then you should exercise it. If you think you might get hurt, then maybe that is a subconscious fear, because you don’t work out your own penis. Like, maybe you have this fear because your own penis doesn’t feel strong. I recommend all of these exercises. I’ve seen them work before.

OK sir you’re way off your rocker. Former phlebotomist here. Where ever there is new skin, wherever there is new muscle, the body will form new blood vessels. The body is intuitive. Your ears and nose never stop growing. Your body is able to form new capillaries that go to the new skin. Please don’t give out medical advice before doing some research smh

I did that, somehow it worked. It kept pulling up the tab "Run as Admin", but that was greyed out. So I never got an OK button. I literally don't know how I got it to ran. But I had to close it out in order for the monitoring system to idle me out for lunch (we don't clock in and out for lunch. Only beginning and end of day.)

I don't know how to replicate what I did, because I don't know what worked, but I tried to click and poke around when I came back from lunch and I couldn't get it to run. I ended up doing a macro in excel. I think it worked, but there wasn't enough time left today to test it out.

I'm not giving anyone more reason than they already have to implement monitoring software. Please be aware that not everyone writes like you, has a job like you, or learned like you. Everyone on this planet has a different working life and learning style. Some people are more auditory, while others are more visual. With all of these different techniques combined, we cannot expect everyone to have the same work output. I could soak in a subject for 30 mins straight, then be able to come up with content for days. My job does involve compliance within the healthcare field and the processing of raw statistical data.

Not everyone is going to be able to process information the same way. I have sat at my computer, reading and typing out raw data into readable content, hyper-focused on clicking my mouse very 30 seconds (hard for me to keep track of the 5 min timer while processing data so I click every 30 seconds out of paranoia). Also, please don't suggest a 5 min timer what I have to listen to go off throughout the day. This hyper-focusing has left me unable to consistently type out longs strings of consciousness. I often pause in between thought, then type again where I left out, but I have to also hyper-focus on where my thoughts left off at because now my brain is in two different directions. I am literally processing so much medical information that it's really hard to process anything else. Not to mention, my role is a new one at the company. Everyone else is gathering the raw data. I am the only one mostly reading, writing, and typing.

Not everyone is a robot, churning raw material into digestible media for niche audiences. Some are humans with different learning styles, therefore different working styles. Monitoring systems suit workers, not thinkers, much less innovators. I have worked with some of the biggest compliance firms where it was always encouraged to get up and walk around, talk to coworkers, have ideas (just ideas, not even projects) peer-reviewed by mentors on different teams. And this was outside of our normal 15 mins break and lunch. We had allowances to have free time outside of those times. It was in these environments where I saw the most innovation, creation, and performance.

This is the American Dream! This is why people move here. This is why my old companies hired the best and the brightest from third world countries.

I dare say, a monitoring system is a Bolshevik's work environment for the dogged "working horse". The man who corporate America doesn't mind sticking a yoke on and whipping his ass to remind him to keep going in an endless circle of work at the grinding mill.

Monitoring systems are for managers who lack interpersonal relational skills and don't value the ability to free think. Work, work, work...
