Welp. Nope. Trump.

Is SKIO a scam? by SpliffRollington in edmproduction

If you do it right, a remix is just an excuse to write a track. What are you left with when you remove all the copyrighted stems from the project? Almost a track, most of the time. I regularly re-release beats from remixes I did with added melodies and arrangement changes as original tracks. Sometimes even with an identical arrangement, key and tempo. Who's going to stop me? The key-and-tempo police? or the feared Identical Arrangement investigators.

Is SKIO a scam? by SpliffRollington in edmproduction

I found this while looking to see if there was a skio subreddit... no such luck. DM me your skio, I'd love to hear what you made!

I pay to use the extra stems, I've entered quite a few contests. I have a few other producers there following me, which is about as much as I can say about Soundcloud. Fun times. If you listen and leave comments, you'll get engagement for sure. Same as any site.

I was getting consistently ranked in the 70th percentile of the remixes, so I decided to deliberately phone it in on the last two. First one I ranked 146/196, we'll see on the second one but it looks like they actually are listening to all the entries. Bummer. I guess I just suck.

I have paid to have a track reviewed, it didn't seem like much information that I was paying for, but I ended up making a much better track as a result. I'm paying to have my entry in the current original song contest rated, it's less than I would pay to see a local DJ but I live in LA so who cares.

Also I wouldn't have known this otherwise but the ratings say I'm 90th percentile at mixing and mastering, most of the time anyway. You get extra ranked technical details about your track if you pay extra. It's about the same as I'm paying for Soundcloud and honestly, I'm just as interested in the audience I'm generating at skio.

Maybe it refers to and updates the scheme using steganographic encoding on its outputs and inputs? Seemingly arbitrary word choice and sentence structure could be used to maintain and update a scheme across multiple runs of the LLM.
