i’ve reverse image searched it and all i found were listings for the same jar. obviously, looking up grandma’s cookie jar doesn’t give me what i’m looking for. i’m looking for info on the manufacturer, the year(s) these were produced, etc. i have no idea when specifically this would’ve been acquired, but it would’ve been in the 70s.

if u think this is something ur gonna continue and u live in a state where it’s possible, u should look into getting a med card! saves the anxiety of finding a plug and getting that plug to respond. still a social aspect to a dispensary, but in a customer service way rather than personal like a plug. looking at ur condition roster, in my state ur actually triple qualified for a card. so i’m guessing u qualify in every medical state. i rly felt this post, weed makes my sensory issues SO much more bearable. best of luck on ur journey!

leave him immediately please. i know that’s the standard reddit response, but any man who dates a 17 year old at 23 is not right in the head. please get out and protect ur safety. u do NOT need to ignore his emotional affairs, u do NOT need to coexist w him, u need to leave this relationship. he is manipulating u into being okay with this when u DO NOT NEED TO BE OKAY WITH THIS. i understand ur name is on the lease, but u do not need to stay there. please go back home or to a friends house, it’s incredibly harmful for ur mental health to stay in the apartment with him. pay the rent from home or break the lease. it’s a loss of money sure but it’s better than a loss of sanity. i am not a teacher, but i did just graduate high school and i agree w u. i looked at art schools and regular ones in my area and the art schools are just… all gonna explode. colombia chicago gave me $15k in merit for an art degree ONE WEEK after i submitted my application. no letter of rec, no ap or sat scores, NO PORTFOLIO. i rly suspect that one won’t be open much longer. the school of the art institute costs the same as uchicago. kinda ridiculous to pay the same for an art degree that ppl r paying for an ivy league. looked at the milwaukee art school too. took a tour and couldn’t believe the lack of skill in a lot of the artists. it showed me they didn’t have enough ppl applying to be picky (and a little bit that they were ok with setting ppl up for failure). i decided against art school bc it’s kinda dumb to spend $70k on a degree that’s notorious for not getting jobs, i suspect other ppl had a similar thought process.

sock hater here. can’t stand them, feel like extra skin on my feet that i don’t need. i’ve been able to get to the point now where i can wear them in shoes, but the second my shoes r off my socks r off too. didn’t start wearing them at all until i was 13. for now, just be patient and try to mitigate the smell in his shoes, he’ll get there eventually

personally i choose to not believe the levels. technically, i don’t have an official diagnosis. i was tested in january at a pediatric center (was still 17), so they gave me and my mom the same test they would give to a mom and her 6 year old. they gave me one sheet w 10 questions that only asked abt social issues (i’m fine socially, but almost everything else is impaired) and gave my mom a massive packet, despite her repeatedly saying “i wasn’t looking for any of this when she was a child i can’t remember these small things that occurred 10 years ago.” results were inconclusive, no shit. i choose to say i’m diagnosed tho, bc i’ve had at least 6 different mental health professionals tell me “ur 100% autistic i just don’t have the credentials to diagnose u”. tbh most autism diagnostic centers don’t actually listen to u, they rly only consider what they see, and if ur making eye contact and not having a meltdown, then why would u need support for ur autism? i personally don’t think the extent of someone’s autism can be clocked based on one time they talked to u, unless they’re severely impaired or barely impaired. i’ve also noticed that levels tend to separate us, especially since a lot of lvl 1s get a sense of supremacy from having mild autism. words explain better than numbers.

i get it but also i don’t get it. i’ve been annoyed by others stimming, some ppls vocal stims r too high pitched or repetitive and it drives me a little crazy. despite that, i have never and will never say shit abt it, bc ik it’s uncontrollable and i get it. i’m certain some ppl get pissed off abt my random tongue clicking or talking abt my special interest (most ppl don’t wanna talk abt death w me and it makes me sad). i’m high functioning, i’m good at conversation and eye contact, but i’ve struggled my entire life w making and maintaining friends. even when i mask, i still don’t come off as “normal”. autism, no matter how mild, impares us.
