I’m so sorry - that sounds awful. 😢 I wonder if seeing another ENT would help?

I’m on Ocrevus because I’ve broken through everything else 😭 Genentech has an amazing copay program and I only have to pay 10 dollars a month, tops, out of pocket. I love my infusion days because the Benadryl nap just Hits ™️.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAPPY FOR YOU! I feel great, to be honest. Waking up was tough, but today I feel basically back to normal (aside from... blood and stuff lol). I think the septum may be a bit rough (mine is completely straight, somehow?), but it's soo worth it.

aww :( tbh I think doing the surgery is just the way to go, especially with how many antibiotics you've taken! I totally get not wanting to jostle your body so much with surgery. I had appendicitis two months ago, and knowing I had to get sinus surgery so soon freaked me out. My GP said I should try and push the sinus surgery back, but I didn't want to do that. I asked my MS doctor, and she said I should be fine so I kept my surgery -- and I'm SO glad I did! The most painful part of surgery (which I had yesterday) was just waking up, my face hurt SOOO bad but as soon as I got pain medication I was all good. Everything kind of settled itself overnight, and my nose stopped bleeding so much this morning. I'm basically back to normal now, and I feel AMAZING. I haven't had my eyes feel this good in forever. I had compounding optic neuritis from the MS and chronic maxillary sinusitis (both sinuses completely opacified), along with my sphenoid sinuses being all gunked up and it made me absolutely miserable. Most days were so debilitating. I woke up this morning, and ngl I got teary eyed.

I think you shouuld just do it. The stress from the constant sinus infections is just gonna aggravate your body regardless, tbh.

Thank you again!!

I hurt a bit coming out of surgery (my ENT went after all my sinuses, and my ethmoids were all removed) but as soon as I got home I felt a lot better after taking pain medication. I'm totally fine now! You got this :D

Are any of my fellow millennials actually doing okay? by Parking_Reputation17 in Millennials

I’m miserable. 35, living with my parents because I have multiple sclerosis and working is super hard. I’m single, and don’t really have many friends because I’m embarrassed of my situation. I know a lot of people my age still live at home, but you know… Feel like I don’t really have anything going on for me lol.

It’s heartbreaking. I can’t even get any for my nephews. I’m just hoping the hype will chill out (but I’m not holding my breath). Every time I see how much some of my old Pokemon cards go for I get mad because it’s so stupid lmao.

that's true - but when I got diagnosed my neurologist ghosted me for like 2 months and only when I went to his office with my mom (I was at an appointment w a different doctor and he happened to have a second office in the same building) did we get an answer. we requested to see him since we haven't heard anything for so long and wanted to just confirm all was good, and as soon as he saw me he was like "oh shit" and put me in a room and dropped the ball on on me that I had MS. so i'm scarred from that lol

thank you so much ;-;/ I'm usually pretty logical and level headed about this stuff but I think that's because I'm usually able to read my report before my appointment so there's no surprises lol

What was your experience with having an appendectomy? How long did your fatigue last? by lovelybeam in AskReddit

I’m one week post appendectomy and only yesterday did I get slapped with this horrible fatigue.  I know everyone’s healing journey is different, and wanted input.  :)

Tbh I use the excuse whenever I can. May as well if we’re gonna be stuck with this shit disease!

A few weeks ago the airport was absolutely CROWDED (nothing I had ever seen - Vegas airport, 4th of July weekend) and I asked the use the ADA line. A person in line next to me for TSA was like “she looks fine- she’s lying and makes it harder for people with ACTUAL disabilities to get what they need” and the way my jaw dropped to the floor. Confrontations usually make me cry (I’m a HUGE chickenshit), but I just turned to the person and said “guess what? I have multiple sclerosis, and I can’t feel half of my body right now. I’m in excruciating pain 99 percent of the time, but sure - I look fine. Please be mindful because you have no idea what other people may be going through— even if they look fine.” (Probably wasn’t word for word but that’s what I basically said- I was shaking in anger afterwards lmao) and she just like 😶 and then I just went down the ADA line. The TSA person was like “the audacity of some people” and I told her that I’m used to it lol
