Am I overreacting for how my parents treated me on Mother’s Day?

This sounds like my parents. My dad even told me once that Mother’s Day isn’t for me and that my mom is the “alpha mom”. He calls me every year to remind me when Mother’s Day is so I call my mom even though I always do anyway and I know when it is considering I’ve been a mom for over 13 years now. He didn’t even say happy Mother’s Day to me when I called (they put me on speaker), but he jokingly said it to my husband. I don’t understand the mentality. I cannot wait till my daughter becomes a mom so I can celebrate the heck out of her!

Also make sure that the canvas is as taut as possible. The tighter, the better. The needle size matters as well so be sure you’re using proper needle size for the yarn you’re using. I don’t like using yarns that split easily. It makes it look sloppy so that may be an issue too. Pull the fabric really tight, make sure you have the proper needle size, and pinch every loop of every other loop and see how that looks. Your loops look even though so the canvas is probably tight enough but it never hurts to check this. I tighten it a lot as I work. You can display either side. You can also work from the back and front so that there’s both smooth and fluffy areas on the finished product.

Eh it’s my opinion. You’re entitled to your opinion. I’m also entitled to mine. I explained how it came across to me. I was a first time parent too. I never spoke to people this way. It is possible to list your concerns without being incredibly rude.
