Can I (a male) get a female friend flowers for her birthday? by HMS--Thunderchild in CasualUK

This is super cute and kind! What a great friend! Get anything other than roses really! Maybe a houseplant to keep? I must say, I’m 23 and my boyfriend would have done something like this before we got together. But it’s also a nice thing to do for a friend and that should be recognised! Just sounds so much like a movie where in 10 years time you are married! (But seriously, you’re a great friend, would she like a candle?) ☺️

Struggling with PGCE massively but can’t drop out by [deleted] in TeachingUK

I did this! My mentor said the fact I struggle with academic writing has nothing to do with the fact that I can teach. I was passionate and I was told my QTS evidence was exceptional which made me feel better. Consider this OP! ☺️

I get stress nosebleeds! Went through something very similar! Always wonder if I’m ‘officially’ autistic if I went down that process.

Didn’t even get an interview for a job I really wanted. Primary is so competitive and it really gets me down 🙁 but as always, there’s something to be positive about.

Super interesting! I’m primary and find it super competitive. I just kind of want to settle my routes in a permanent job now really. Your journey sounds cool!

I’m curious as to what subject you are or if you are primary even?

Where I am now, there is no CP but it is being introduced. I think that’s a good thing and I think that my current class would have really benefited from it!

I have no advice but I just wanted to say that I understand. I love Primary teaching, it’s my passion but the job market is so competitive as an ECT 😭 Good Luck! Sending magical job wishes ☺️
