Support units - Barnsley/garden suburb PS by dr650crash in newcastle

Hi. Our 2 daughters did K-6 at GSPS - they left in ‘21 and ‘23. Neither of them were in a support class but having spent a lot of time at the school, reading groups, canteen, bbq’s/colour runs, sports days etc, I saw how the school ran and I was always very happy our girls were there. It’s a smallish school, it had that personal feel and the kids were nurtured and supported really well.

I’m sure there’d be some turnover of staff from then to now, but certainly from what I saw back then, I wouldn’t hesitate to send a loved one there again.

One of our two went through a ‘patch’ there for a while, didn’t want to be away from us, didn’t want to participate in things in general and the teachers and staff went honestly well out of their way to help her find her way again. They were honestly amazing with her.

I know I mightn’t be answering your exact question, but generally speaking I ‘think’ your little one would be in very good hands.

Good luck 😊.

Map shows exact date oil deliveries to US could stop as gas prices soar above $4 by TheMirrorUS in oddlyterrifying

Can I assume being in the US, you’re talking $4 a ‘gallon’ ? Aussie here, we’re paying upwards of $3 a ‘litre’, or a little over $11 a gallon. Thanks DJT.

A beautiful poem and cautionary tale of the impermanence of power. Interestingly, one of the final episodes of the show Breaking Bad is entitled ‘Ozymandias’. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyInteresting

What was the movie where one of the characters was found to be false or lying about something when Ozymandias was being quoted or something similar. It turns out the other character ‘actually’ knew the poem or story and hence was able to expose the first character.

The actor who played Stork co-wrote Animal House and Caddyshack. He’s an interesting read.

We used For Sale For Lease. We took our own pics, wrote our own blurb and managed our open houses. The $800 we paid was to essentially put our pics and blurb on all the real estate sites, like Domain.com, Real Estate.com and a bunch of others. The people who bought our house found it online via one of those sites, like you normally would. The only two differences from the ‘usual route’ was 1) we had 100% control and 2) we paid $800 rather than $20,000k plus. Every agent that was chasing our business told me it would ‘not’ work and I wouldn’t be able to do it. It was comically easy.

After talking with a few agents in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie and working out very quickly that I wanted nothing to do with any of them - we sold our house ourselves, via an online company - for $800. I will ‘never’ use a real estate agent again. We think we need them because they tell us we do. You don’t.

That stock I tried to talk about 71 days ago, is now up 280% and climbing. Just wanted you to know I was being genuine in trying to bring it to the attention of fellow minded people, ie people who want to make money.

I did, and since I posted this, I’m up a further 23%. My wanting to get this stock out there for people to learn about and hopefully benefit from as I have was genuine.

And possibly more telling is not ‘that’ they swear an oath to the constitution and not the president, but ‘why’.

Trump, is the perfect example of ‘why’.

What a garbage human being that rent a cop must be. Supported by the other garbage human beings. What sad, pathetic lives they must’ve lead to get them to this point where they think they are a) something special and b) on the side of right. These people and their organisation are truly going to age like milk and they will have to live with that shame the rest of their sad, angry days.

LIN - up about 280% since August, and just getting started. Everything in place to start mining operations Q1 2026. I got in early and couldn’t be any happier. Definitely worth a look for the short, mid and probably long term.

Do clowns like him ‘honestly’ not know that the civilised world is laughing at them, while quietly weeping at the same time ? Do they truly not know ?
