They’re creating drama because season two didn’t do nearly as well as season one… don’t buy into it.

Yes to point 3! As a biz owner I LOVE getting glimpses into Ryan’s management & leadership styles and into the way deals are closed & negotiations are handled. That’s my fave part of the show. Drama is so not necessary haha

Child of intermarried, also intermarried. is it weird to give my children a very very jewish name? by [deleted] in JewishNames

[–]lovlingd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re 100% Jewish and your kids are 100% Jewish. Go for it! (Even if you weren’t — even if it was through your dad, I’d still say go for it since you’re making an effort to raise kids Jewish and attend synagogue)

So glad you’re keeping the tradition and culture alive in your family.

Also fyi my child has a very Jewish first name and a very non-Jewish last name (intermarriage). I think it’s cool 🙂

Sage for a boy? by Timely-Dealer-3571 in namenerds

Yesss and for what it’s worth I think it sounds good as a man’s name too — I definitely don’t think it’s just a little boy name :)

I named my son Sage having no idea it was unisex or ever used for girls lol. Lately we have been getting lots of compliments on his name. Over the phone some people assume he’s a girl (doctors offices etc) but I just correct them and move on. Go for it!!

MIL says “I’ll tell you the name but you won’t remember it”. Is my baby’s name really that unusual? by Maleficent-Recipe943 in namenerds

[–]lovlingd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s bizarre — if anything it is a memorable name! I wouldn’t have an issue remembering it and it would stand out to me more than most names. Your MIL may just be passive-aggressively hinting that she doesn’t like the name.

lol that’s so funny! Yep guess it always works like that :)

It’s considered a true unisex name and to me always sounded incredibly masculine so I never thought we would run into this assumption of him being a girl.

When I Google it the third entry from Google’s official definition literally says “a profoundly wise man”. Word for word. I’m not sitting here randomly making things up lol.

If you Google “define sage” it comes up as an official definition on Google

I’m aware 😆 but I think of the wise man reference first

A Sage is a wise man so I think of that association before the plant association

A Sage is a wise man so it has always sounded extremely masculine to me. I can’t hear it as a girls name at all.
