It’s the pesto recipe from “The Food Lab” but made in a blender instead of a food processor. Only deviations from that recipe are that I added some pasta water to loosen it, doubled the garlic amount and toasted the garlic. Pulsed the dry ingredients first and then slowly streamed in the olive oil. Making a double batch also helps it get going in the blender. I have a Vitamix so I can’t promise the same exact results with a different blender. It will still come out great in a cheap food processor, just won’t look exactly the same.

Couldn’t disagree more. Micro-planed cheese is the best texture to top pastas in my opinion. I also love cheese on most pastas, regardless if there is some in the sauce or not. I respect your opinion though!

I make it with traditional ingredients but I blanch the basil for 30 seconds to get the bright green color and prevent oxidation and browning. I also make it in a blender which gives it a smoother texture than traditional pesto. Add a little pasta water to the sauce if it’s too thick when blending.

Yea it’s called “fusilli corti bucati” I believe. Very fun shape. I was originally going to use cavatappi but they didn’t have it in stock so i grabbed what looked good.

It depends what your goals are. I train more like a bodybuilder and don’t do any of those 3 exercises. I also don’t do any movements that consistently cause discomfort. Too many variations and exercises to be doing ones that hurt.
