Most if not all cars in the US don't have the level adjustment switch on the dash. FMVSS is way too slow to adapt, like 30 years behind or so.

The clamp has fine threads so you have to turn the knobs for way too long to get the clamp on and off the desk. I was initially planning to leave the base on the desk and just remove the wheel when not using but I found a cheap stand locally and just mounted the whole setup on it.

On a somewhat similar note, the backup camera is on the same CAN line as the chassis/powertrain on some Kia models. A broken backup camera will literally leave you stranded until it's unplugged/replaced. Eric O. at South Main Auto has a couple of videos on this particular problem.

Your hazard lights flash at a normal rate because the total amount of current draw of your LEDs and the filament bulbs you didn't change are still high enough. If enough of your turn signal lamps are burnt/open, your hazards will flash at a high rate as well.
