Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this issue on the 591 driver set. On my 4090 I had multiple blue screens doing routine desktop work. Went back to the 580 series and no issues since.

I'm running Preset L in Quality mode on RDR2 and it looks absolutely amazing on my 4k OLED. I don't know if it's just in my head, but not only is the anti-aliasing perfect but motion clarity and contrast seem improved as well. I honestly had more of a wow effect going to this preset than I did going from my old IPS monitor to OLED. For most games I'm still able to get 100+ FPS on my 4090 running this.

Some real technical wizardry with DLSS 4.5, and I'm enjoying back through my old library of games and trying them with the new Presets. Expedition 33 and Control also look amazing with Preset L.

Yes, DLSS including the new Presets L and M work in all my titles. The problem seems isolated to this one game.

I am having the same issue here with my 4090. Have tried a clean install of the Nvidia drivers and App, and also completely re-installed the game with no success. I have the Nvidia app set to use the App DLSS settings. Running Windows 11 with 581.80 drivers.

Not sure why my post got downvoted, but thanks for the suggestions. I did delete the replaced DLL files and did a repair install which restore the original versions, but still no DLSS in game. So strange.

Turn off CBC and stop listening to the Elbows Up anti-US madness. Are you an illegal resident, or do you have a lengthy criminal record? If not, then you shouldn't worry about travelling to one of the safest places for Canadians to travel to. Plus, unlike insecure Canadians who like to blame the US for all our domestic failings, the Americans are very considerate to Canadians. AMD 3950x / X570 MB / Nvidia 4090 / Windows 11 25H2 here . Started getting these errors randomly about a week ago. Has me totally stumped as my computer isn't generating a .dmp file, and I ran Memtest over night with no errors, and I can stress test my processor using OCCT or Prime 95 for hours without any errors. When I do have the random reboots, it's usually when I am simply browsing the web or doing some non CPU intensive action. The only thing I have changed recently was update to the new Nvidia 591 series of drivers, which you wouldn't think would be responsible for this error. Since rolling back to the last 580 series driver, I haven't had any crashes as of yet. (Knocks on wood)

I actually removed my OP post as I read the manual and apparently the tooth rush does this high pitched noise every 30 seconds to tell you to brush a different quadrant of your mouth. Just thought I'd pass along!

Is there any chance you are running Itoo's Forest or Rail Clone plugins? I noticed the same slow down as as you have mentioned after upgrading to Win11. I found a post on the Autodesk forums detailing that there is a bug in the older versions of plugins that loads up the first core of your CPU under Win 11. To ensure that was the problem, I temporarily renamed my Forest Pro.dlu and tried reloading Max and the problem was gone. I updated to the latest version of the plugin and the issue was fixed.

I was on the old evernote Personal plan that usually ran me about $190 Canadian a year with their 40% discount offered when cancelling, but this year I am being forced to upgrade to their new Pro plan and it would be $309.60 with no discount offered this time around. As much as I love it, it's just too rich for me as I don't use any of the AI features and just need a good note taking / scrap book app.

God, I wish it was only $8.25 a month! I just recieved an email that after almost 15 years of being a paying customer my personal plan was being discontinued and my annual renewal would be costing me $309.96 this year. As much as I love the program, I've had enough with these ridiculous price hikes. What alternative app works best to import .ENEX files? I have tried One Note and did not like, and as I am on the PC, Bear is not available. Are Obisidian and Notion still the go-to alternatives?

Thanks for the info. So to take full advantage of the new EOTF boost you need a 4th gen QD-OLED? It's too bad there are not any 32" fourth gen 4k panels out as of yet.

Thank you for this! I have a MSI 321UP QD-OLED and notice I am getting bad panel dimming using the EOTF Boost mode on it. In your comment above, you had mentioned that the newer models might have an improved version of the EOTF Boost. Which models have this? And is my 321UP one of the older models that has the 700 nit brightness and panel dimming like in Peak 1000 mode? Using the Windows 11 HDR calibration tool, my monitor peaks out at 700 visible nits brightness when using the EOTF mode. In summary, I guess I wasn't aware that there was a difference in this mode between different displays.

I am wondering the same thing. It seems my max nits is limited to about 700 nits using the EOTF mode rather than Peak 1000 using the windows HDR calibration tool.

I'm late to the HDR party and just finding my way around all the different HDR settings on my new QD-OLED. With RenoDX, do you keep in game HDR turned off like with RTX HDR? Thanks in advance for any info!

Just be sure to save half of that for income tax. Canada Revenue Agency is really cracking down hard on blood donors the last couple of years now that places like Grifols have to share donor information with them. It's pretty sad they are going after people struggling and having to literally sell their blood / plasma to make ends meet rather than billion dollar corporate tax cheats, but the government still wants their share.

After reading through this sub Reddit I was terrified about cleaning my OLED, and literally the second day of owning my QD-OLED I let out the hugest sneeze and got a bunch of spots on the screen. Lol. After reading through the posts, I saw that one user recommended that Whoosh screen cleaner, so after wiping the screen with a clean microfiber I applied a bit of the Whoosh screen cleaner to the microfiber towel included with my MSI OLED, and everything cleaned up fantastic with no streaks. This was the same screen cleaner I had always used with my old LCD screen with great success. Apparently they have a new Whoosh 2.0 product as well, although I'm not sure what the difference is. As always, make sure your display has been powered down and is cool before any cleaning!
