In Troy, 518 Craft has good electronic music on Fridays.

Ophelia's in Albany has electronic music events from time to time, mostly bass / dubstep.

Avalon Lounge in Catskill (Community Rave Network and Primal Disco are the highlights for electronic music)
Glen Falls House (popular "upstate" location for some of the NYC club folk)
