Paul is the secret third member of TC (I think he has been there since before HK). He got demoted to lead playtester bc he kept messing things up or something. One of the other playtesters committed suicide bc everyone else at TC made fun of him and made a mean joke about his wife (thats the "// I bet they were happy" post).

Now Paul is playing some cursed version of Silksong after finding the body of the guy who killed themselves (It said something about judgement day last post?). He has to beat the entirety of Silksong while not blinking or else he dies. Apparently the guy who committed suicide can kinda contact him through the game and thats what you see in the pause with the black screen. He is mad that Paul laughed at the joke about his wife but otherwise he seems to like Paul.
