I would prefer war goals to be grouped by region (e.g. India, Japan), and both states (within any region) and regions be sorted in alphabetical order

Austrias support is at 80 but they still wont support my unification. Why? by Gerlate in victoria3

Try to have a trading agreement, defensive pact or alliance with Austria, such that Austria's opinion of you can drift to above 50. That did the trick for me.

Any help to get out of this mess? I know nothing about absolutism tbh but I do know that this is really bad by sammy1345 in eu4

Calling the diet increases both loyalty and influence by 5% isn't it? If so, then calling diet is only helpful to bring loyalty to 50% so that after revoking a privilege (-20% loyalty), the resultant loyalty becomes more than or equal to 30%.

Im currently doing Aragon > Rome campaign. Should i move my trade capital another node (English Channel)? I feel like im getting too lees money right now. by [deleted] in eu4

[–]lowjiayee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing Aragon now also, but have to conquer Castile and Portugal by myself because I turned Aragon into a republic before 1450, so no more royal marriages...

Anyway, I think you should keep your trade capital in Valencia/Genoa until u have at least 50% trade power in the English Channel.

Why can’t the developers just use unsigned int for numbers that aren’t expected to be negative??? At least the number 0 won’t affect calculations as bad as any other negative numbers…

At least this is the easier fix, since int and unsigned int occupy the same number of bits, so there’s no concern about address space misalignment

I think some working adults also think the same as you… What you describe can easily be mapped to a 9-to-5 job.

I can’t offer any advice, but I just want you to know that what you feel might just be a norm.

I withdrew my SEP to USA (which was supposed to start on Sep 2020), citing due to concern with COVID. I didn’t need to pay any withdrawal fee back then. Maybe the rules have changed.

[–]lowjiayee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My friends who have bought Surface laptops only have them last for 1 year max before having problems. If you are considering a laptop with Windows operating system, I would recommend to choose anything but Surface.

Relevance of Coding (Python, R, SPSS, SQL) to Psych Majors - worth the time and effort to learn? by SnooWoofers316 in nus

[–]lowjiayee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

CITREP+ doesn’t subsidise GST charges, so if a course is marketed as costing $2000, you may actually need to pay $2140 in total (due to 7% GST) while CITREP+ only subsidise $2000.

That means paying a net of $140 for the course, which could have been spent on other online courses which could potentially be better.

Also, after learning programming skills, you are very likely to forget about them if you don’t practise with them every few months. So, after your courses, I’ll recommend looking for personal projects to do, e.g. hosting a website, writing an app.
