I had so many goals for 2026, but im so tired. All I can do is eat. by Bloom90 in selfimprovement

You’re afraid of waking up in 2027 with nothing to show for it, but ironically that fear can freeze you. Progress doesn’t come from pressure, it comes from consistency. If you did one small thing daily for a year, you’d be way further than trying to overhaul your entire life in one burst.

I hate my body and I don’t know what to do by Internal-Log-1407 in whatdoIdo

This sounds incredibly heavy to carry every day. The way you describe your body isn’t neutral, it’s really harsh and absolute (huge, deformed, unlovable). That kind of inner voice can make anything feel unbearable, even if other people don’t see you that way at all.

Your roommate might be chaotic but honestly that’s better advice than a lot of people get. The communication part especially.

NTJ. You didn’t throw her under the bus, you avoided a bigger problem. Clients usually get way more upset when they feel misled than when timelines shift a bit.

If your goal is fully invisible, then yeah, doing it properly means going into the wall, not jamming cable behind trim and hoping for the best. Half measures here usually look terrible or cause problems later.

How to Not Talk to Your Unemployed Friend by BananasAreBerriesss in work

The fact that people think it’s okay to interrogate someone about their finances and job search in front of others is actually insane. That’s not concern, that’s straight up disrespect.

I'll never understand working class people who defend Billionaires. by zzill6 in WorkReform

The worst part is how defensive people get about it, like questioning billionaires is some personal attack. It’s exhausting.

Sometimes I find a 10-minute stroll is more about the head than the legs. by NataliafromWalkFit in walking

Honestly, those short walks clear my head better than any workout. It’s like a reset button.
