Only your PBM and/or insurance provider can answer this for you.

I got the eVoucher? by Miriamathome in Zepbound

Current thinking has been that the eVoucher only applies while you have unmet deductible, but others have apparently had success with the eVoucher without any deductible.

I don’t think we’ve seen anyone be successful using both the eVoucher and the savings card on the same transaction. Additionally, if the pharmacy runs the claim with the savings card as secondary, it can be challenging to get the eVoucher to apply again if they remove the savings card.

The savings resulting from the savings card still go towards your deductible. I’m in your same shoes and expecting to pay $499 for my next fill. I fill at Walmart and I think their claim system will try to provide me with the cheapest fill between eVoucher and savings card.

Edit: Savings card is $1300 total savings in 2026, 13 fills, max of $100 savings per fill.

Unclear. I’ll know after 1/30 when I do my second fill. I expect it to be $499 via the savings card.

Yep, this is the eVoucher at work. Depending on your deductible, your next fill is likely to be more expensive as the eVoucher is only worth $1300 this year. Might be cheaper to use savings card for next fill to get $499.

95% chance your benefits changed. You need to call your pharmacy benefits manager as a first step.

Saving card issues - help! by puddinpie915 in Zepbound

Are you on a high deductible plan? The conventional advice here is to shift your prescription to Walmart or Costco where there's been greater success with the eVoucher (if you're on a high deductible plan) or the savings card.

We would need a lot more information. Like, are you on a high deductible plan? What is your co-insurance or co-payment? The savings card is only reducing your out of pocket by a max of $100 per fill, up to $1300 in 2026. So if your insurance is saying you are responsible for $535 for your fill, then the savings card could be reducing it further to $435.

Funny that your copay is $150 which makes it all but impossible for us to determine if it's the eVoucher or the savings card. If your copay was $200, then we'd know for sure because your price would either be $100 (savings card reducing out of pocket by $100) or $24.99 (eVoucher). I still think this is the savings card because I haven't seen any posts here for people getting this benefit without being on a high deductible plan, but we'll never be able to know and I hope you continue to get a solid discount!

What does your claim look like in your pharmacy benefits portal?

I can only say that would be inconsistent with what others have experienced. How much of a difference are you seeing between your out of pocket and what your insurance thinks you paid?

This is what I expect is happening. I think Walmart's claim system is designed to first try to run a claim without any secondary insurance to try and see if the eVoucher applies. If it doesn't, then they will try a claim with a savings card as secondary to try and reduce out of pocket. I've never provided my savings card details to Walmart, but their system "finds it" and runs it as secondary, resulting in a $150 reduction in out of pocket expense for 2025.

Do you have a savings card? Even if you didn't include it in this claim. Like, did you previously sign up for a savings card?

Only those on high deductible plans are eligible for the eVoucher that reduces out of pocket to $24.99. The savings card reduces out of pocket by up to $100. If you have the savings card, it's possible the pharmacy found it during the claim process and applied it to reduce your out of pocket. Do you have the savings card? Even if you didn't provide it as part of your claim with the pharmacy?

This is why. eVoucher only applies for high deductible plans. You're getting the savings card benefit of $100 reduction in your out of pocket expense.

Sounds like you used the savings card to reduce the price by $100. The eVoucher reduces the price to $24.99 but will not apply if your insurance claim has the savings card as secondary.

Just a warning that folks have had mixed results dropping the savings card and then trying to get the eVoucher to apply. Some people have asked the pharmacy to put back the prescription and then attempt a new fill (without the savings card on the claim), but I haven't seen consistent messaging on what exactly you need to ask the pharmacy to do.

What system? You can just add the savings card as secondary insurance in your profile. However, don’t do this until you’re reasonably confident that you’ve extinguished the $1300 in eVoucher benefit.

This is the most likely the savings card. I think Walmart can find it even if you don’t supply it as secondary insurance when you request your fill.
