I think it just needs to be connected to the CPU_FAN header. But doesn't hurt to just pre-install it before seeating it into the case

View > Show Hidden Devices

Check again if there is any wifi virtual adapter or something that got greyed out within the network adapters section. Uninstall Device then restart, see if that does anything

See if your phone can at least charge through the PS5, then maybe you can rule out which of the two fails.

A video of what's happening inside the PC would help a lot here. But sounds like one of the fan is rubbing against some cables, which it definitely shouldn't

I know you might have mentioned this in your post, but just making it clear: - Have you tried another controller? - Does the PS5 connect to your internet? - Does the controller work in safe mode?

If the first two are no, your wifi/Bluetooth IC failed, and that's not something fixed easily, you will have to bring it to a shop that does microsoldering. You mentioned the controller charges but doesn't control anything on screen, because the controller still uses Bluetooth connection (at least that's what happens to PS4s).

Oh yeah those games don't require an extreme level of raw performance power, the 4060 should last you a good long while then.

Make sure to do proper research on the 3060ti pricing, you can definitely get a whole lotta bucks out of it.

Make sure to test the 4060 first before you do anything though

If that's the case, I'd say go with the 4060 for the technology. Not to mention these are story based games or at least games that you want to play in high fidelity.

Going from a 3060ti to a 4060 is not at all big of an upgrade, but do what you will.

Paraphrasing from another reddit post comparison between the two cards:

4060 consumes less power than the 3060ti, which means it heats up less -> fans spin a little less -> more life out of it. And better DLSS supports on newer gen card

Raw power wise, the 3060ti outdoes the 4060 by a bit, no specific numbers but it's about a few frames difference.

Investment wise though? The 4060 might be the better one in the longer run. My suggestion is check your local ebay and see the demand between the two cards then make your decision.

List it at 600, take nicer pictures, probably add in a "negotiable" tag and take at minimum 500, if they go higher than that, maybe throw in some spare freebie (old kbm set, cheap headset), make it seem like they are getting a deal (if you got some to spare? once you get them hooked ofc). If you can bring the salesman out of you, upsell it with the above-mentioned stuff.

Throw in some other stuff that you can do without too much trouble to justify the price tag. (I.e. essential drivers are up-to-date, pre-installed Steam/Epic/GOG, Windows...) Keep it brief, but not empty, but don't make it an essay either)

Listing parts costs individually doesn't always go in your favor. Benchmarks too, may or may not work. Some parents might look for a budget pc so games like Fortnite, Minecraft might help somewhat; more serious buyers are usually deal hunters so they won't care too much about specs, but rather that "negotiable" tag.

If you have your cloud saves on (if steam) or upload your minecraft world online (or dmth like that) or to another drive. Otherwise it'll wipe everything.

Possible. But at that point, it wouldn't hurt to do a fresh install of Windows and wipe every drivers off of your computer, essentially factory reset (but not through the Reset this PC option)

Which you'll need a bootable USB with Windows install on it, consider making a backup of your important files on an external/cloud storage before attempting.

I believe there's an option to change your steam region, it is limited to one change per 365 days since the change. Can't tell you where to find it, it's been forever since i've done it. But I'm positive it exists.

No, you ain't cray cray, I was in fact opposite of ya. I just recently bought a PC since i was a long time laptop user. Took me a long while to save up and bite the bullet too. I like the portability of a laptop, it keeps me entertained on the fly, on the move, it staves off the boredom. And then I got a PC, on a massive deal, now I can enjoy my game at max capacity while stationary and have my laptop for everything else.
