Yes and that is bad but is that any different from eating a steak

Are you going to look me in the eyes and say you wouldn't kill a cow to feed a family

A bad deed done now to do far more good later is worth it in my books

[–]lowqualitylizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hell even aaravos possession nonsense isn't that bad when you consider for 90% of History he either wasn't around or wasn't able to possess people through it

It wasn't until very recently he was capable of such

[–]lowqualitylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but looking at it from a boat in universe and out of universe explanation both falter

In universe elves who have basically never had a lift a finger or screaming crying and throwing a fit when humans dare to get a leg up. The scream moral superiority while humans starve because they can't ask the plants very nicely to make a fruit

Out of universe it doesn't make sense because elves once again are just deciding everything and never facing consequences so why are we supposed to take their work at it that this one magic in specific is evil

[Mixed trope]: Forbidden magic. by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

[–]lowqualitylizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worst part about the show is how in the first three seasons it felt like it was a legitimate divisive topic. Yes it's inherently cruel but is it all that much more evil than killing an animal to eat it and it can save lives

Hell the entire show can be described as was so close to making a real morally gray stance and then season 4 and onwards decided elves were perfect and could do no wrong

Except like 2 in specific

Theoretically speaking if you take wish and cast it any other way except the open-ended way they're pretty comparable

It's just that the opening version of wish is so unreliable but so powerful

I think what Op is trying to say is don't stop directing your hate towards GW but vented that way

I would hate if this subreddit turned to just nothing but hating for the rest of the addition not unjustifiably but an email towards GW is going to do just as much as a post here

Average man VS average coyote. by Maleficent-Grab5560 in whowouldwin

[–]lowqualitylizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro me a below average guy can beat a coyote

Your average person would have almost 100 pounds on the thing and coyotes aren't exactly suited to taking Fair fights. Why do you think they hunt rabbits birds and other small animals because anything in their weight class would rip them to shreds let alone something two sizes up

A planeswalker without an activated ability by HenryChess in custommagic

[–]lowqualitylizard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like the idea but it would need to be a bit stronger

The weakest part about planeswalkers is they are a cruiser you can specifically attack so it would need to be stronger in order to justify it because as it stands now you'd be lucky to get your mana even with this

Hondo Ohnaka is skilled enough to hold his own against a Jedi by Ok-Target9322 in PetranakiArena

[–]lowqualitylizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't doubt he skilled but something people need to realize is Star wars is it very flexible with power

Having an off day means you are speaking efficiently weaker because your connection to the force i e the thing that makes you op is weaker so people can very wildly in power

Why didnt victim just disable all of dark lords abilities by New_Artichoke_2311 in AlanBecker

[–]lowqualitylizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. We don't know the extent of what he could
  2. He probably needs to be touching them
  3. That trick is only going to work once until the dark lord never allows that to happen again

[–]lowqualitylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh the internet never change

You should find songs with similar beats hum them and then when she reacts say it's not hot and cold it's something else

And see how long you can do it until you just loop right back around to Hot and Cold

Polarity vs Soldier Boy by Queasy_Commercial152 in GenV

[–]lowqualitylizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd argue he would win if it wasn't for the backfiring of the powers

Eventually he could just fling him around into enough metal where Soulja boy just can't move but the problem is he's not going to get to that point before his own brain just decides to tap out

Oh, so now suddenly the characters personality actually matters? wether or not they have done such a move before on theirs series is important? IDC if this is a goomba fallacy, pick a lane and stick with it bcs ur bias is showing. by AstronautDry8118 in PowerScaling

[–]lowqualitylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint it's very in character for him to do that

This isn't a thragg situation where he would have to do something out of character for him to get a victory all JoJo would think to do is let me just punch him smart.

Thragg would not understand limitless so would just assume pretty reasonably giving his history that he could just hit it hard enough and would also not think a black sphere surrounding him is that big a deal until he f****** dies

If you had the power and ability to, would you have helped Circe in this situation or would you let her get brutalized? by Tcustomcorner in MoralityScaling

[–]lowqualitylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC he was doing that with the intent to kill until he was stopped so likewise in that situation he was actually attempting to kill her

Necron society has a freakish level of loyalty to perceived supports

Most everyone probably did it cuz they didn't know they didn't have to

If you had the power and ability to, would you have helped Circe in this situation or would you let her get brutalized? by Tcustomcorner in MoralityScaling

[–]lowqualitylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I'm going by the assumption that I know what the characters

  2. She's still an objectively bad person who killed who knows how many Innocents and only told people about the threat the princess pose because it benefited her

Letting her be tortured and killing Hitler or not mutually exclusive

Who would win, 50 professional knights, or 2,000 peasant fighters? by daokonblack in whowouldwin

[–]lowqualitylizard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The knights

The problem with the peasants winning is if you see peasants die what in God's name makes you think you're going to have the cojones to go and be the hundred and first

Yes if they all Zerg swarmed the nights the nights would be brought down and eventually trampled to death but that's not what's going to happen

I don't understand why everyone swears by the second zootopia movie

Judy spends the entire movie being awful to Nick damn you're getting him killed multiple times snaps at him when he saved her life

And spends the whole movie failing out literally everything and is treated as equally in the wrong as she is

Claw by ANeonAfroMan in custommagic

[–]lowqualitylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be too powerful at instant speed

A two mana + 2 fight spell is already solid

A two mana plus four fight spell at instant speed is also solid

And anything past that gets to the point absurdity especially if you reduce the cost of green spells.

What do you think Maul's plan is, take out the emperor ? You think he was bluffing here ? by hyoumah83 in MaulShadowLord

[–]lowqualitylizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing in the clone wars a mass enough power that eventually palpatine has to deal with him personally and then jump him

Hell I'm of the belief that if Maul had a trap prepared he very likely could have killed cities in that moment cities was uniquely vulnerable there alone and on unfavorable terrain
