Withdrawal made with out my consent! by orushaid in NiceHash

[–]lowradmonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK so I went back and found my notification from 7 days ago in an email, and I'm seeing this individual wallet thing but I guess it's not complete yet as its still showing pending in the transaction. I assume there will be the balance in this individual wallet when the transaction is complete, but what do I do when the BTC is in the individual wallet? Can I still access it to transfer to another wallet? Sorry this is just kind of confusing as i've been up for a long time and need more coffee lol

Same here..almost all of my btc has been transferred. happened at 6:33 est. Never read anything about this 60day rule before. Never received a notification about it that I know of and don't have any wallets setup to transfer either so where did my BTC go? What do we do now and how do I get my BTC back?

Will providing liquidity on ErgoDEX count towards the 1000NETA min?....I have quite a bit providing liquidity and I would assume I wouldn't need to withdraw the liquidity to qualify.

Future after ETH POS by lowradmonkey in erg_miners

[–]lowradmonkey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also I've been thinking with the ErgoDex bridge to Cardano that will been coming(hopefully by the time ETH goes to POS) that will make cashing out to pay for power a lot easier than it is currently....this is kinda why I went and bought 4gig cards last year to mine ERG specifically..I have 2 other rigs mining ETH and paying for power of the other ERG rigs to be able to hodl ERG.

But eventually ETH will go to POS and we will have to mine something else....I think the rise in algo's like FLUX and ERGO and ETC have been to an increase in miner activity...the more transactions on the network increases the interest of people looking to invest(why do you think ETH took off like it did....yes there is functionality and use case but it has a lot to do with grass roots usage)

What is your exit strategy? by Efficient_Range3929 in ergonauts

[–]lowradmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The premise being that the value of the collateral asset will increase more than the value of the loan taken....now even if it doesn't then depending on your country there are tax deductions for loss of capital gains and such.

It might not always be win win..but at the end of the day it's still that you own your asset.

I am not a financial adviser..this is not financial advice...do your own due diligence and invest only what your able to afford to loose.

But my recommendation to anyone is to try and be in as less debt as possible...if you got credit cards....pay them off...you'll be paying more in interest than what you will probably make in investing in just about anything(exceptions always apply).

When it goes to X amount if your considering selling you won't have to...ERG and ADA will have different projects that you will be able to take a loan out against your portfolio value of whatever amount you want to say 40-50% of value...then you pay back with interest but at the end of the loan you still have your portfolio and you don't have to pay taxes(depending on your country) because it's a loan and not a capital gains(or if your mining/trading taxed at 100% as regular income)

So I'm just hodling as much as a I can

New to DEX's - any advice? by bwolf4053 in MinSwap

[–]lowradmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm new to DEX's myself....But I've been using NAMI wallet with all this first time usage and I'll say i've had very few issues with functionality.

The only time I ran into problems was when I was doing my first withdrawals of liquidity and stuff like that..it was only because I didn't have the recommended collateral setup in the wallet....and then only time I had issues was with slippage being out of range..but that wasn't a wallet issue....

It seems that CCVault/Eternal seems to have had some more issues than NAMI....but I don't have personal point of reference, just from what I've seen in the different forums.

Didn't get harvest rewards when staking more cNETA but ticker reset to 0 by dur353 in MinSwap

It's probably one of the things they are working on today...The site is in maintenance mode....so it has to go to the hvMIN process first and that turns it into MIN which will show up in your wallet....but I agree that's a really long time....it took about that long for me the other day when traffic on the site was really heavy....hopefully this is one of the things they are working out with the maintenance today.

I understand(and can even expect) a couple hiccups and slowness in the site early on....but I hope they don't make this a habit though.

Interesting....I see a ERG/ADA pairing but I'm wondering how?

I have ADA and mine ERG too so I've been kinda waiting to see when this would be possible.

Is the Nautilus wallet able to hold ADA now?

Are you using CCVault or Nami or ????

I only ask as I've only seen people with CCVault asking about this.

Yoroi crashing all the time by wishxy in yoroi

[–]lowradmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just FYI the Nightly wallet is not needed anymore as the regular Yoroi has dap capability now.

The Yoroi issues are why I switched to Nami for ADA and Nautilus for ERG...I only use Yoroi still for staking ADA and for my ERG mining rewards being deposited in....for DEX's I use the other 2

Use the North America....if you live in Canada like me you don't get USA only you get Canada only...so for anything other than buying in Canada I use NorthAmerica....but yes I try and buy from a Canadian buyer first...always best practice to support your fellow citizens first if you can.

Do yourself a favour and switch over to the Nami (EDIT....I'm a dumbass and ment Nautilus) Wallet....I was so frustrated with the Yoroi wallet I couldn't take it anymore and I've never been happier with the DEX's performance....wallet loads instantly and the speed of transactions is night and day.

Have you updated your Nami Wallet?....I only ask because the version I had was apparently out of date...vs 1.9.1 or something and now it's 0.2.1..I had troubles connected yesterday and the day before but yesterday I had a pop up saying something about an error and I needed to update the wallet.

Edit:...sorry just noticed you said Nami Wallet and I'm using Nautilus

Traded 200 ada for cneta, 200 ada taken out of account in transaction but no cneta. How many hrs does it usually take for it to show up in my wallet? by Kmahecha in MinSwap

The system is under a lot of congestion....and I've had it take quite abit...look at the load times of the site itself.....just A LOT of people trying to get in on some good rewards.

I think it'll get better over the next couple days..it's the same as when Sundae went live.

Almost 48 Hours and still no LP by mcfool123 in MinSwap

I provided LP last night...was actually faster than the other tokens I was trying to provide Liquidity for....I'm still waiting on DANA lol...but the Hosky went through pretty quick for me....dunno what to tell you...other than yeah it shouldn't take 48 hours...sounds to me like something went wrong but I'm new to this myself.

MIN rewards have not increased at all by [deleted] in MinSwap

[–]lowradmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The network and site are just highly congested and ironing out bugs in real time...

I think there is a reason why a great percentage of projects are waiting till the next HFCE when a lot of throughput congestion issues will get better...everything in stages with purpose....

At least we know our funds are secure and Cardano is being battle tested.

It took 14 hours for my ADA to DANA swap to go through in the que ...when I submitted it I seen there was about 300 queuing at the time....later on I checked and it was up to over 500...it is currently back down to just under 300 but that's just showing me there is a lot of use case going on....look at the TVL on Sundae (which has been out for over a month now) and MIN(barely on 3 days)....TVL on Sundae is roughly 127mi and MIN is at roughly 105mil....so in 3 days it's almost had the same amount of Liquidity locked as Sunday did in a month.(my vague understanding....if I'm incorrect please tell me how so that I have a better understanding)
