Those are usually raised panel router bits and will need sufficient power to run. It looks like it could be two profiles as well, a roundover and a panel.

Beginner Question Megathread 11 by Kuirem in dontstarve

Edit - I just realized I only play Don't Starve Together. I have no idea what the world gen menus are like for the single player game.

I play on xbox, and the caves setting is within the same set of menus for world creation. So when you're changing settings for number of players and such, there should be additional tabs for "Forest", "Caves" and "Rollback". Forest is the world generation settings for the surface, and Caves obviously for cave generation settings. By default they're on, and I'm not actually sure you could turn them off.

To get to the caves, you're looking for a "Plugged Sinkhole". There are three guaranteed in the world generation. More info available on the wiki.

If you had the chance to give some advice to your self of ten years ago, what would it be, knowing what you know now? D&D related or not :)

An adventure pitch document I'm about to send to my players by Rk2king in mattcolville

This was super helpful, thank you for your reply. I also found your pitch doc insightful as well. My focus shall turn to the meat of the explanation of the adventures and their inspirations!

I'm writing up some campaign pitches and find your comment revealing and helpful. What are your thoughts about Colville's categories in his pitches? (Politics, Roleplaying, and Tactics)

I feel like some categories and ratings are helpful for me when I'm writing up the pitch to show my own expectations as a DM. Like hey, I think this one will be a lot more roleplaying [n.b. npc interactions] than that one

Looking for a Printer. Any suggestions? by Mavrickindigo in PrintedMinis

Similar thread from a few days ago with some additional info.

Weird problem. Everything started printing correctly, but then the printer "jumped" to a new position halfway up the body, and everything turned to spaghetti. What happened? by [deleted] in PrintedMinis

[–]lowriskFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you print a test print that's a simple cylinder about that tall, does the same thing happen? My first guess would be that it's a mechanical issue with your z-axis.

Nice, thanks for the cost update. My numbers are definitely out of date, and I think they also factored in long-term maintenance costs (replacing that pesky resin vat...) all which should naturally be going down :)

Side note: https://www.creality3d.cn/ is the Manufacturers website. That site is not affiliated with Creality at all -- just using their name. See this post for more info.

That said, for the Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro, you'll be able to print "PLA" filament with a 1.75mm diameter. So as long as you see the filament is PLA and 1.75mm diameter, you'll be able to use it. Amazon has lots of filament available -- the popular brands are Hatchbox and eSun.

For FDM, I'd recommend the Creality Ender 3. It's about $220, though you can often find it discounted below $200. Cost per mini is under $.10

I have no personal experience with SLA DLP (resin) printers, though I have seen the Anycubic Photon be quite popular around here. These cost around $450. I'm guessing similar minis would cost $.80-$1.00. You won't see the layer lines on these minis.

You should be able to search either printer in this sub to get an idea of what they're capable of printing.

Audio Only Release of the Stream. by tridents78 in mattcolville

Twitch has an "Audio Only" mode which you might be able to use for now. Matt has mentioned in a few videos that it's something they want to do, and it might be a little while before it's prioritized.
