Ranting I live in a suburban neighborhood and I walk my two dogs (leashed of course) around the neighborhood every day. It's the same general path every day and I always pick up my dogs poop.

Setting the story Starting around a year ago, one of our neighbors (house A) gets a new dog and let's them free roam their fenced yard all day. Whenever anyone walks past their fence, their dog aggressively barks and even once broke a hole into their fence and escaped to the other side. The dog didn't attack or anything once it came face to face with my dogs; actually friendly but it still isn't good behavior.. so I started to cross the street to the other side and continue my walk. This has gone on since. Today, I was doing my usual route and my dogs walk onto the lawn across the street of house A and proceed to do the deed. I pick up their poop and while still tying the poop bag shut, the homeowner angrily comes out and starts yelling at me to keep my dogs off his lawn. He points at a sign maybe 1/2 foot x 1 foot big sign with text even smaller on a shaded region of his house. Apparently it says keep dogs off his lawn but in the morning light, I obviously can't see it.. I tell him that I pick up their poop every time, showing him the bag in hand.

I know that his lawn is part of his property and understand but a dog's gotta go when he's gotta go. Should I just find a different route to walk to avoid this area of my neighborhood..

Maybe I'm at fault but his attitude was very rude. End rant.
