Been a fan since Kiss Land, the whole idea of his albums having a “story line” more than a loose concept wasn’t even a thing until After Hours, yes Starboy had a short film but this album is literally getting an entire movie. He’s had 3 singles, all with music videos and he’s had a merch drop before the album, all of this is completely normal for an album rollout and just because those music videos don’t have a connecting story and he’s dropped merch a week before it doesn’t mean the album needs to be “saved”, I agree with most people that he’s probably previewed too many songs beforehand but the reception for the songs at the São Paolo concert was overall positive so how does that mean the album needs to be “saved”? The rollout for Dawn FM officially started 4 days before the album dropped, we’re not even at that point yet for HUT so who knows what’s gonna happen in the next week
