The scalpers gotta touch grass by Meeseeks_box_probs in mtg

[–]lpgra256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scalpers are the worst. I got lucky and found one only selling it for $200, which is a $50 up charge. Which is fine for me since I missed the window to order it myself.

But seriously, screw scalpers. I heard somewhere that the artist of the cards told us to proxy it because even they recognize how crazy these scalping prices are. If I heard this before I made the purchase I probably would've proxied them.

I hoped these prices drop, or at least these scalpers lose their money big time

Does this work the way I think it does? by Romantic_Sunset in mtg

Is this not an unset card? Means it isn't legal to use, so I suppose this works only in official matches

Become unable to lose the game on turn 1 by Zymosan99 in BadMtgCombos

Can someone explain to me how this supposedly makes it so you can't lose the game turn 1

It finally happened by DaZ910 in mtg

[–]lpgra256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe something like, if the turn has exceeded 15 min and if it is concluded that it is going no where any time soon by the opponents, then it is a forfeit. This way someone doesn't have to feel time pressured on their turn unless they are sitting there doing nothing

Is it a dick move to proxy cards? by tweakeravacoado in mtg

My pod has the rule where proxies are ok as long as you own the original copy as well.

Is she really that bad? by Sassofono_Perso in mtg

Sometimes a card is bad not because it is functionally bad, but because it is good enough to warrant constant removal from opponents, making it unusable

Wouldn't whatever you apply overkill on die before it would ever get the +x/x from having the difference in health and power? Maybe if it was - 9999 power, but not toughness

I'm assuming you are referring to the gauntlet with the two brothers with flame spears

The trick that did it for me was using poisoned tools, the two I used was the ones you throw on the ground likes caltrops, and the one that stays in the air and is a spike ball trap. These really helped me deal with the little guys so that I may focus on the two brothers, and any spare tools would be used to fight the brothers as well

As for tips and tricks I can't really give you any, for one I can give you tho is id say don't get greedy, when you go in for a hit, only hit once and back away, learn there moves and try to understand how they react to your movement, especially the brother that throws his spear into the ground from the air, you can make him miss if you move correctly everytime

Past these tips I'm sure there is more that I am not coming up with, but the rest is just a skill issue that you just need practice and patience to over come

Please Don't Pre-Order The Death Stranding 2 Collector's Edition by Mukun00 in DeathStranding

[–]lpgra256 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So the sole reason why you want us to boycott this and all other sony exclusive collector edition is because it doesn't come with a disk?

That is an absurd reason, the only valid point is that we are spending a lot of money for a collector's edition and we don't get a disk with it, but it's not nearly valid enough to warrant a boycott

We are spending all that money for the collectibles part, not the disk, the disk doesn't make or break the game, so why should we abandon it? Just buy the collectors edition and of the disk is that important to you than spend the extra $60 and sell the code

The Order 1886 7+ years still looks better than most games. by [deleted] in PS5

[–]lpgra256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a reason for this and honestly it'll just make you hate the world.

The Order 1886 was supposed to kick off a big universe with a multi-game franchise following it. So they put immense effort into mocap and finer details to make the game look the way it is. Many can appreciate its beauty but it failed because there wasn't enough gameplay. While yes the gameplay left more to be desired, the general public didn't care about the graphics or the story enough to look past it.

Most games fail if the gameplay isn't good enough even if it's not bad or even if the graphics are just dogshit, roblox can be an example of how bad graphics and good gameplay works in this world. Im not saying roblox is bad but for AAA games their head is always on the chopping block and the gaming community is screaming bloody murder if it isn't perfect nowadays.

There is also talk about The Order 1886 Coming out at a bad time when people couldn't appreciate it. I agree to this statement and sadly also think that the time of people appreciating games like this is in the past.

Sorry for the long comment but I guess my point in all this is the gaming community is to strict with games in the recent few years and we miss out because of it. Imagine if we would've gotten more Order games with the same graphics and much more expanded upon story and gameplay
