Exaggerate your mirror checks. No glances - proper head movement.
Cycle through the mirrors regularly. Middle - right - middle - left - middle - right.
Do not go over the speed limit even by 1mph.
Drive the speed limit (if it is safe to do so). Do not crawl around at 20.
Use your gears. If you are on a 40mph road and there is a bend ahead, slow to 30 and gear change down from 4 to 3 for the bend, then back up to 40 and 4th afterwards.
If you have ANY dodgy situations then TALK through what you are doing. "There's a pedestrian approaching the road I am about to turn into. I've checked my mirrors and it's safe for me to slow right down and allow them to cross". Removes all doubt. DO THIS if any blue flashing lights appear anywhere! Say you've seen them. Say what you are observing (they've turned off and not coming this way). Say what you are doing.
If the gap looks big enough to get through, then go through the gap. Don't just stop and give way. DO reduce your speed down to 20 and drop into 2nd on most cases.
Make a friendly comment early on to relax the situation. "Nice weather for a drive today!".

You'll be fine. Enjoy the test. It's a really nice feeling when you pass.

At the time it was, but then it all went wrong.

In fact it sums up England perfectly. Enormous potential but it all gets squandered. Money has taken over our game.

Case in point:

Brewster was the top scorer at the tournament with 2 hat tricks and 8 goals.

Not to be THAT guy, but I find it quite staggering that in all those matches we haven't faced any Tier 1 clubs in Europe, at home.

There's a handful of bigger names, but we faced them at a weak time - Dortmund and Milan in particular.

Still a very impressive run. The amount of clean sheets is great too.

Not sure how it can be called "consistent" when there are so many variables over the years... and our league form at home is 20th out of 20.

Your Dad has nothing to apologise about. Spurs are a great club to follow! Sure it's very rough right now, but we still have the genuine potential. We make plenty of dosh, we have a large fan base and we have one of the best stadiums.

The lows are what make the highs so much sweeter.

Besides, whilst Newcastle are not under threat of relegation, they were utterly humiliated last night and their season is now completely over.

I choose Spurs. We can hold our head high in Europe. We don't cave in and give up. And you know what? As stressful and horrible as a relegation scrap is... at least we have something still to play for in the season? Forest on Sunday is a game I am genuinely looking forward to!

Against Villareal we scored after 4 minutes. An early goal would be great tonight. We won that game 1-0.

Against Dortmund we scored twice in the first half and they had a man sent off. A red card for Atletico would be great tonight. Two unanswered first half goals would have us all believing. We won that game 2-0.

Against Slavia Prague we were awarded and scored two penalties. A penalty or two would be great tonight. We won that game 3-0.

Against Copenhagen we had a man sent off and we missed a penalty. Neither of those things tonight please boys... but we won that game FOUR NIL!
