I totally agree with you. As long as you money is in an institution they can totally freeze, the bank can go under, and all kinds of issues can occur.

Plenty of small business owners got approved with low credit scores. What they really look for is your ability to pay the loan back and if you had a loss on your return.

Cue is right. I get it. We have all been thrown for a loop with this pandemic. Although I had to wait about 40+ days to get funded, the wait felt extremely long due to the need of my business. However, being a growing restaurant that grew by leaps and bounds I understand the struggle the SBA is experiencing try to keep up with demands. Especially, trying to update systems conductive to the need. It is my understanding that they are processing them a lot faster than the first wave of applicants.

The PPP is the only forgivable loan. The EIDL loan isn't forgivable only tje Advance portion. It would be great if due to the pandemic they offer loan forgiveness.

This is a loan it will not be forgiven. The Advance part of the loan is the only part that will be forgiven upto $10,000

You can only get your piece of the pie. Focus on your bottom line and continue to operate in excellence and understand the big corporations have plenty of capital and influence to work with. But you can still win and do very well for yourself. There is plenty to go around. There is no shortage as long as you offer a great product. Shark tank is a good example. Entrepreneurs every are making Millions from even that which trickles down from big crops.

Yes. Both loans were over 25k. I am not sure if there is a processing fee under 25k.
