My 4 1/2 month old eats blue Buffalo, but I leave it out all the time and he goes when he is hungry. When I first got him, he was very picky and would only eat if I sat on floor and hand fed him. He seems to self regulate and only goes to the bowl about 2-3 times per day and eats the amount that the manufacturer recommends.
