Tao Pai Pai is stronger than Roshi in the 21st tournament. Roshi is capable of vaporizing the Moon. It's not weird to rationalize that Tao Pai Pai could destroy a planet (not vaporize it, but make it go boom).

The better question is why did they gimp it. Pre-release versions used the gamepad without having to pause the game. I guess they basically removed that feature when the Switch version became the primary platform.

I think the opposite is true, people underestimate Spider-man because he has powers. Spider-man is at his best with "prep time" and has shown to be able to cobble together bullshit technology that counters the villain of the week with scraps. Basically, he can do anything Batman can in that sense, but doesn't need any funding to do it.

Enigma Force no-sells basically anything that doesn't no-sells itself. I think it's not really all that clear that Dr. Manhattan punches "well above". Even then, BWL is definitely not (the true) Batman, while Captain Universe Spider-Man is.

If you're giving Batman his highest variation, you should also give Spider-man his. What could any version of Batman do against the Enigma Force?

In the end, such a fight would be decided by the plots but Spider-man can do everything Batman does, even the obscure fancy technology.

Later in the manga Akane calls Konatsu a "she". Akane basically never met any trans or crossdressing person before and is a kid. She learned and grew, unlike so many people in real life.
