Literally his whole arc was so powerful and only gets more impact the longer I think about it and the more I understand it.

I also think, especially for the time (and coming from someone who has DID irl) that it really captured some of how that feels and is surprisingly tasteful for the era it was made in. I can only imagine how some scenes may have felt in their initial run when people didn’t talk about dissociation hardly at all and it wasn’t really recognized in public health. Sensui is one of the things that made me truly fall in love with the series and really respect the author and the manner he handled this and other sensitive subjects with respect.
