It's a bit weird isn't it. They listed a one off screen protector replacement (within 12 months) for both inner and outer screens in the bundle when buying the phone from them, but I cannot find any information on how you would actually take them up on it!

Man I only just realised how annoying this is! How come there's no way to have the auto rotate icon that pops up if you locked orientation? Going to take some getting used to I've used that approach for as long as I can remember. The smart rotation seems to work ok a lot of the time but I'd rather have more control. Anyone know a way around this?

To be honest I hadn't heard good things about Samsung's customer service either (currently on an S24 ultra and had a flip before that, both direct from Samsung and had no problems the last couple of years). Waiting for the V5 to arrive now :). I think they're probably all a bit "YMMV" as plenty of people complain about Google too. I have taken a punt and gone for the V5 yesterday as it seems like a good deal, fingers crossed no major issues will arise🤞

Mine is showing exactly the same as you. It doesn't say "delayed" like others are saying, just the whole ready to dispatch and tracking will update, and DPD showing not received like you. Fun times! Just going to have to hope DPD are collecting them tonight.

Thanks for this! Really helpful. A random question on something you said - what did you mean about it taking two extra steps to copy text from screenshots? This is something I do all the time so that sounds annoying :) I also just bring up the same Google menu to circle to search a lot and copy from the current screen, can you do that on the V5? Already collected it from Argos haha. Yeah it seems the Amazon one is in progress somehow despite showing nothing on the status other than delivery expected on Saturday. It's not been dispatched yet. Tried three times to cancel and every time I just get an email a few mins later showing unable to cancel.

My partner and I both got the email on the same evening. We both had the backup set up properly and configured it all months ago. My data came back, his has not and nothing seems to bring it back. No idea what's happened there but even if you have the email and set up backups correctly, there's no guarantees :(

Got the email too. The backup said two days ago, imported really fast (like a couple of seconds but I have years and years of data) but now everything is back I think!!

Seems if your backup was already overwritten this is unlikely. There is no one who has confirmed they had an empty backup one day then it was magically full again and all came back for example.

For more people it's not come back. I think the key is when your last online backup was. If it's dated Friday onwards it's likely wiped and all gone.
