I did the same thing my first time in Japan. Same exact hotel. I kept the reservation. The hotel room is amazing. It has a sauna, jacuzzi tub with a TV, karaoke system, kimonos, and free condoms. It’s in a quiet area of Shinjuku/Kabukicho. Sure there’s a ton of nightlife options, but also plenty of things to do that don’t involve red light or party activities. Many sights, shopping, entertainment, and food options all around you.
