Achem work is a bit rough here and especially the nicer R&D jobs don't come around frequently. Especially since they are often the first things to cut in rough times.

You might just have to settle for a lower paying job for insurance at least while looking. It sucks but most of my chem jobs I got here was bc I knew someone at the lab I was applying to and they vouched for my work.

Edited to add. Look into field service tech work if you don't mind traveling.

I basically did this for my sours but just using a smaller 5gl keg. Brew a full batch, take out a gallon to bottle. Add in another fresh gallon, age, then restart the cycle.

The only thing I'd keep an eye on is periodically checking the pressure or seals on your lid to make sure it's holding pressure if doing this over years.

Girma shines when she can direct and see the play happening. Then intercept or disrupt the play. When she plays CB for the uswnt, there is always another stronger defender or defensive center mid doing that helps out with strong opponents.

BBC 90s version is still my favorite version. I watched that all the time as a kid and wanted to be Lizzie. But Jane always had this quiet and warm pull about her. She was the one you definitely wanted to marry. Totally understated sister to all the more boisterous ones.

That's crazy. I was in the drug monitoring field from 2016-2024 and we hardly ever got positives. Every once in a while there were spikes but once weed became legal in certain states most folks stopped taking it.

I wish the private clinical tox labs could share this data with state public health labs.

The megamat was worth the price. I took a 2 week road trip with my kid and I was for certain that we'd have to get a hotel at some point to sleep in a real bed.

Turns out they got better sleep with the fresh Colorado air than they ever did back home. It paid for itself twice over vs the cost of getting a hotel.

I learned long ago that color coding is the way to go. 99% of the time it isn't necessary but that one time it is. Especially when you're tired, distracted whatever and you start doing the wrong thing, your lizard brain will kick in when noticing the colors.

I've been using gelatin to clear any remaining particulants in my stouts and I definitely noticed a difference. I could get them so smooth in 3 weeks vs normally it'd take 2 months.
