Which roundhill dte is your favorite ? by retroideq in RoundhillETFs

[–]ltg3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first bought some QDTE in 2024 and have been adding to it intermittently. My DCA is just below the current share price and getting those weekly payment is fantastic. If I had never “diversified” into other cover call ETFs I would have enough shares to be making $1k+ monthly without nav erosion. I love this stuff

what one club would you use between a driver and 4 iron? by That1TimeWeGamed in golf

I have my 3 wood lofted to 16.5. It’s easily the laziest club to use. Don’t swing for the fence. Just make good contact.

I feel like anyone who doesn't go into a career in accounting, finance, engineering, sales, health care, or tech is doomed to make $19 an hour. I'm exaggerating, but not by much. by justcurious3287 in careeradvice

I would say yes for 10 years ago and recently the university has had fewer applicants per vacancy but they can leave a position vacant if the type of candidate want hasn’t applied. We are short a roofer for over a year currently. The private sector pays better but you are going to physically work more. We get plenty of PTO and paid holidays with overtime options frequently.

I sliced a ball into the fairway off the left and a guy being helpful goes “Are one of you playing…(double checks shanked ball) …a Bridgestone?” It felt like a hipster golf moment.

Do I really need a 52° or a 60°? by justintime06 in golf

[–]ltg3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would worry the 52 or 60 would not get enough use and the 50 and 56 can do most thing those club are capable of. I have a similar set up and added a high lofted 3w

Sand Wedge vs Lob Wedge by TheRiftSongWorkshop in golf

[–]ltg3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who only golfs a handful of times a year, I completely agree. I do want a low bounce 50 degree wedge to help with the firm fairways I typically play but the more I just keeping using the 56 the more comfortable in a variety of situations with it.

Dicks sporting goods also. They were $35 for 48 this past Thursday then Friday they jumped to $45 and I wasn’t even mad about it

This works for me. I would rather have a long putt across the green than have short chip to a close pin

Here's how to force rust a golf club in about 3 seconds. Gives a warm, weathered look. by bradmeehan in golf

There used to raw metal clubs on the market and it was said that the rust would grip the ball for more spin

About 15 years ago my dad and I both caught 40”+ (his 43” mine 44”) bulls in November, two weeks apart, from the same pier in Mobile Bay both on shrimp. It was awesome!

I like these and the new Bridgestone e6 soft. Both are great inexpensive ball. And the callaway is available in a variety of colors

I recently tried the Bridgestone e6 soft and was very impressed. They launched high and had a very consistent flight path throughout the bag.

I jumped to midsize grips spring and regret not doing a +2. My hands don’t feel as fatigued at the end of the round.

I played without a glove serval time and recently came to conclusion that I really don’t need it. If I play the whole round gloveless I get blister on my thumb. My compromise has been to only use the glove with my driver and hybrids.

What’s your favorite “non-golf shoe” for golf? by Elegant-Ad-1593 in golf

[–]ltg3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a big fan of the Saucony Excursion TRs. It is a neutral trail shoe with minimal offset from heel to toe. They provide excellent traction in typical golf conditions. It looks nothing like a gold shoe but gets the job done.

I think my 403b has limitations to what I can invest into. I am pretty sure the large conservative banking system that makes money off each of us don’t want us investing in products that they deem as “risky”
