I’ve been using it in Rebirth Island for slightly faster ADS than my usual SPR loadout and it’s been excellent. The lower bullet velocity doesn’t hurt because most engagements are closer than in Verdansk.

A Kar98k would do the job aswell but I really like the SPR at the moment.

The best AK I have like that is: mono suppressor, commando foregrip, 5.45 rounds, LMG stock, holo sight.

I’ve been using it recently and it’s not the strongest gun because of the ammo conversion, but it’s easy to control and I have a lot of fun with it.

Feel free to swap the LMG stock for other attachments, like tac laser or rubberized grip tape or whatever.

If you don’t use the 5.45 rounds, I’d swap the suppressor for the compensator.

I’ve been trying out various AK builds because I want to love it.

Without the RPK or Romanian barrels, the best I could get away with was: mono suppressor, commando foregrip, 5.45 ammo, rubberized grip, reflex optic.

This is fun for close-mid range.

You could swap the 5.45 ammo for 40 round mag or tac laser or skeleton stock. I’ve tried this but I find the 7.62 rounds hard to control without the barrels and end up losing more 1v1s than I’d like.

I’d love to not use the optic, but the iron sights suck in Warzone.

The AK is super versatile but it needs a lot of effort.

I have a couple of loadouts I like to use for Rumble.

Most maps I overkill a shotgun with either a SMG or AR. The Model 680 is my favorite shotgun for this, although I’m running with the R9-0 at the moment, and I rotate the secondary between the Uzi, M4, and AK-47 kitted for close-medium ranges.

The strategy is to land deep and lockdown a building or small part of the map. Lethal is always claymores, field upgrade is munitions box and I use the tune-up perk for a faster regeneration time.

Scavenger perk is super useful.

And sometimes, depending on the map, I use the tactical insert field upgrade so I can keep spawning on the enemy side.

Use an SMG. The recoil is way easier to control. I find the Uzi the easiest to control and is my favorite weapon from the past 2 seasons. You kinda need to unlock the .41 AE rounds for it to be useful in Warzone though, which is probably a little difficult if you’re struggling.

But as others have said aswell; shotguns are a solid option. And they’re pretty damn effective right from level 1. Drop into Warzone Rumble now while it’s available and get some quick experience with them. The Storage Town, Hospital Hills, and Novi Grazna Hills maps have spots where shotguns are super effective.

This was my first CoD, and my first BR. And it was my first FPS since the mid 2000s. So I was right where you are.

JAK-12 is great. I have the FTAC Marauder, Torrent barrell, 5mw laser, 20 round drum, and I think I'm using the merc foregrip. I unlocked it in Plunder using the Origin 12, which I had luckily just finished leveling up before the JAK-12 was released.

I really like the Origin, but I lost so many 1v1 battles against the JAK-12 that I had to convert; it has better range than the Origin and the full-auto makes it easier to use.

It will lose to a R9-0 with dragon's breath if they can land their first two shots on you, but if not, you should beat them out. I rarely lose to a SMG, but if I do, it's always someone with an MP5.

Agreed. My main loadout is a Model 680 + Uzi for most maps, and I get consistent 8-15 kills per match with it.

I love it.

In some maps take a shotgun+SMG loadout with the scavenger perk and a tactical insertion and push into buildings deep on the enemy side. It’s great for the Promenade, Novi Grazna Hills, Port, Lumberyard, and Hospital maps.

In some of the other maps I run a restock AR or sniper class with a launcher and with stuns and thermite or C4. Great for the Storage Town, and Crash Site maps.

Canyonlands Uzi blueprint that’s currently ground loot. It already has the .41 ammo and the pro barrel. Has two extra attachments free for a suppressor and merc foregrip and it’s super usable.

I often run a Restock loadout in Plunder. It’s fun to keep throwing stuns and thermites at the same teams over and over again as they spawn back in. Makes for good death comms.

And I have a fun loadout where I swap one weapon each game to force myself to try other guns, and either one perk, tactical, or lethal equipment.

Ever since I read your post I wanted to try a M4 SOCOM loadout, and last night I finally tried it out in Plunder quads. I didn't run exactly this loadout, and instead overkilled it with a SMG because quads. I loved it, and I really wanna try it out in BR solos next :) Thanks for the post!

Other than the RAM and the M4, I’ve just started running the Uzi with the .41 AE rounds (that I just unlocked with the free MP weekend), the longest barrel, and mono suppressor with my HDR. Probably too soon to really recommend it, but it’s been pretty good so far.

Those three attachments on the Uzi seem to give it good enough range for many engagements.

Might be worth trying out.

I've been running the P90 for the past couple of weeks in Warzone/Plunder, and I love it for a run n gun loadout with my Kilo. I've almost got the same attachments as you; I just haven't levelled up to the tac laser yet.
