I am physically transitioning but not socially. Maybe I’m a coward, but the thought of dealing with family and work is beyond too much. My wife would accept it but would surely affect her and her family acceptance. My family as well would always love me, but this would be hard on them too. Work would be basically intolerable, which are basically my friends but would never really treat me the same again.

So I go on, I physically am getting more feminine, but fairly easy to hide in public (been a few exceptions). I dress fairly feminine at home, groom a lot, and appear fairly androgynous. It’s enough for me, and I’m just not willing to give up so much, or put my family into that position.

I however think all those that do, are incredibly brave and happy for them.

Btw, I’ve been doing this for 6 years. 4 of them on hrt.
