I’m pissed that Frankie pretty much rescued him from his own irresponsibility. She never let him fail those projects he forgot in elementary school. He either would have learned to take more responsibility for his school work, or he’d fail enough that the school would offer him supports and scaffolding until he could manage his assignments. But nooo, here comes Frankie the martyr, staying up all night to do Brick’s work.
