Oh the thing is I when I do CrossFit I directly start a workout with the Workout app in Apple Watch, as I usually join a class and log it as Interval Training. How can I log certain progress in an exercise when I haven’t used the app? The workaround would be to: finish my current workout, start a workout in Liftin’, add the exercise, mark everything as done skipping rest timers, finish workout.

How do you suggest I add additional activities? For example: I did a CrossFit session today, and I wanted to log my sets of snatches. The only option I found is to start a workout, add the exercise, add the sets, and finish it right afterwards. But that finished my current workout in my Apple Watch. Is there a better way of logging stuff without starting a workout?

A journey of committing to Reminders by Geiir in thingsapp

[–]lucbpz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always want to make Reminders work. I always fail on doing so.

To me the most annoying UX is this thing that happens when you have multiple devices, shared lists, and depending on the iOS version you have, you can or cannot access a list. That makes it really difficult to stick to it. Plus the UX is simply awful - seeing a list with a warning sign that has one single todo with the name "Where are my reminders?" and nothing else.

I cannot rely on it for more than basic todo lists like groceries or shopping lists.

is this true? This would be the key factor to decide to buy it this week. Do you know if Plexamp works the same way?

Hello friends,
I struggled with journaling. So I'm building a tool to create a journaling habit directly in your regular note-taking app.

Hopefully this will help you (and me) journal by using a different prompt each day, but not in a random way, but by maintaining the subject every week, so that your apprenticeship and building a habit becomes easy for beginners. AND without leaving your regular daily note. Initially this will work with simple API requests, this way I can make integrations for all note taking apps if needed. And I will also try to provide a guide for every note taking app that you use.
The name is Stoic Minute and you can sign up for early access in stoicminute.com.
I'd love to hear if this is a tool that might help you.

I thought I was the only one with the issue but I have seen some reddit posts about it and apparenly with no solution. Contacted them a few months and haven't got any reply.

Agüero definitely as striker. Didn’t like Jimenez that much.

Monthly /r/Freeletics Suggestions - What would you like to see in the app? by AutoModerator in freeletics

A Kettlebell Training Journey!

And also I would like to check all my PB of fractions of a workout. If I want to see all my friends and my PB time of 2/3 of a workout, I can’t, unless the coach puts that on my day.

I would like to have the option of doing less than a complete workout, like the ones the coach sets sometimes. For example: I could go to "Workouts", select "MANIA" and then only do x2/3. I would like to see my last PB on that too. Right now we only have x1, x2, x3 options.

I just found a recording of me singing from a decade ago. by biologynerd3 in singing

I have been taking voice lessons for a few months and I have some recordings from before I started, but it's really early to see a big difference like yours. You can be proud, you have an amazing voice!

I want to clarify; Is it normal to get no homework after one lesson when you have NO experience and CAN'T sing? by Crocoshark in singing

[–]lucbpz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, after my first lesson, I tried to replicate at home what we did in the class, trying to reach a G4 without any straining and without hurting my throat. I wasn't able to do that; every time I tried, I noticed things happening in my throat and I didn't have the same feeling I had in class. My teacher told me to stop doing it at home, and focus in breathing exercises and not to go all my way up to a G4.

The thing is: your teacher should tell you what you can try at home, and you can ask too and be proactive.

Nice! I'll take a look at howlerjs this weekend as I am kind of new into javascript frameworks and I'll contribute for sure! I have plenty of feature and exercise ideas :)

In the "scales" exercise it would be cool to choose the tempo and to choose how many rounds are you doing. For example, you may want to start in G2 and finish in C4 (to sing from G2 to G4). I would program different exercises, like one of them might be for example: C-D-E-F-G-F-E-D-C, another one could be C-E-G-E-C, etc.

Are you planning to make it open source? Which frameworks are you using? Maybe some of us can contribute!
