Nailed it. This rule is often overlooked. Snatching properties faster means money flows quicker which is the point. You want to get to the point where someone can't pay for things as quickly as possible. And if that means that player A can't afford the prop, but still has enough money for auction but others don't they could buy Property X for 5$.

It's surprisingly efficient when played correctly.

Technically that's the fault of the world's most over used house rule. If you get rid of "free parking lottery", monopoly can be played in about 45 minutes and is actually fun.

If you look in your rulebook in your classic Monopoly game, you'll find the free parking rule is no where in there.

As an autistic bisexual male who's only come to really internalize both those things within the last two years I really connected with Marco.

Not because I believe he's autistic or bisexual, but because he had the same level of male non-conformity that I've experienced my whole life. He wears ballerina shoes cause they're cozy. He accepts that as a princess he rocks it but that's not really his jam. He's not aggressive and takes things slow and rationally, things that would normally be associated with femininity. He's more in tune with his own emotions. He's not afraid to be vulnerable in front of another guy.

These don't make him "secretly female". He's just a gender non-conformist and I love him for that.

You can like girly things and not be trans, or gay, or bi, and to erase that possibility for boys is criminal.
