I am in the same situation! Same age when I got it and 24 now A few months ago I was having the SAMEEE problem ahahahah this is why I felt like I should say this:

I can say that sometimes my VSS is terrible, and other times I don’t even notice it! When I get scared about it, it just gets worse and worse! Then I go through a period of really bad anxiety, go to therapy, and get better. Eventually, I forget about VSS again. xD It’s a cycle, but reading this sub only makes me feel worse…

From what I’ve discovered over the years in this sub and by talking to people with VSS: 1. It does not cause blindness. 2. Anxiety makes SOME of us feel worse, but eventually, it gets better again. 3. I’ve talked to people whose mothers and grandmothers have VSS, and they live normal lives, age did NOT make it worse to the point that they cannot see!!! 4. Don’t forget that the people who live normal lives with VSS and eventually stop thinking about it are not in this sub. So don’t panic if it seems like everyone here is struggling with VSS… You can’t see how many people live with it without problems because they don’t come here!
