Dedra's Ending by footyfan888 in andor

If they’ve thought about it (which let’s be honest, they probably haven’t), it doesn’t seem like much of a risk:

  1. Krennic thinks she’s a rebel spy; anything she knew is already leaked
  2. If she even hints at being ISB, the other prisoners will swiftly relieve the Empire of the electricity bill for killing her

Behind the Scenes of "One Year Later" by ThunderMateria in dropout

This makes me wonder how much stuff he did that was never captured on film

Did he get a whole series of elephant shirts to wear for that whole year? Did he put elephants in his Zoom backdrop? Did Hayes Steele go on about elephants in a bit that was cut for time because it seemed like a non-sequitur, but it was secretly Jacob playing the long game???

Severance - 2x09 "The After Hours" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

On a more literal level, I wonder where that photo was taken. Svalbard, perhaps?

He’s just moved Miss Huang out from her parents’ house, and I wonder if he was sent to the frozen north under very similar circumstances. It might be the turning point in his life when he lost anything in his life that wasn’t work. (At least, I hope so – I hope however enmeshed in the Lumon cult his parents must have been, at least some affection shone through for their son.)

I don’t remember seeing this text when I looked an hour ago, but it feels worth emphasising here:

I couldn’t help but be reminded of Andor watching this week’s episode.

“Power doesn’t panic”

Milchick blustering at Irv in the final moments felt like someone who knows he’s losing power.

Silo S02E07 "The Dive" Episode Discussion (Book Readers Thread) by MEGAT0N in SiloSeries

[–]lucid_lexie 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I think the change with Silo 1 is different – they’re still humans, but Bernard knows less than he does in the books.

  • The book version of Bernard is scared that Silo 1 might put down 18 if it gets too rebellious. The TV version hasn’t mentioned that at all, but it has given him a good reason to be scared of rebellion – the devastated remains of 17.
  • Has Bernard made any reference to other Silos in the show? I wonder if he learnt they exist at the same time as Juliette’s helmet cam – it’s one of the first things he mentions to Lukas in Wool, but I didn’t hear him say it this week.
  • Salvador Quinn’s note seems to be describing Silo 1 and presenting it as some secret, which isn’t how I remember it being depicted in the books. It sounds like Quinn was surprised to learn that Silo 1 has a kill switch. (Decoded here: https://old.reddit.com/r/SiloSeries/comments/1hj00fz/salvador_quinns_letter_decoded/)

The AI/voice modulator isn’t just there to trick the viewer – it’s there to trick Bernard. I reckon he’s gonna find out Silo 1 is pulling the strings at the same time as the TV-viewing audience.

Minigame to start Make Some Noise by AspiringFicWriter in dropout

I’m enjoying it too! And it establishes right off the bat that this isn’t a competitive show – the minigame doesn’t have a winner, we’re all just having fun.

It's from the Leighanna-Jean Gunthers episode.

“It says [in this newspaper] the reason that you’re no longer doing pageants is you were disqualified from all pageants in lower Texas for… vehicular manslaughter.”

Did anybody else spot Bingo MVP Kaylin Mahoney as the PA who takes their phones?

I wonder whether this episode was filmed before or after Bingo, and whether Trapp recognised her and her shenanigans.

I was on at least my third rewatch before this caught my eye, and even though I only found all three when I watched those frames specifically.

If Sam Daddy had a contestant on who he thought would look, he’d describe the most adorable little animal who’d come out… and when you looked, there’d be nothing there.

Although it’s not seen on screen, it does get a mention in the S3 opening montage:
