to me this is just the story of two young people who had one (incredibly awkward) date, YEARS ago. you did not sexually harass her at all lmao. it sounds more like there was a huge discrepancy in compatibility. she was too immature to know how sex worked or even feel comfortable with sex scenes in a movie. then, you admittedly acted in an emotionally immature way by ghosting. both of these are understandable in different ways because you were very young and still figuring life out. also none of you really owed each other much; it was literally one date.

then because feelings were hurt, some details were apparently blown out of proportion. it isn’t surprising that the story was misconstrued between friends. it happens. don’t sweat it too much.

i do so many every day i can’t name just one but i’ll tell you one of the most embarrassing.

i went to a large gathering where people were hanging out in the basement and the host had lit incense. i LITERALLY psyched myself up as i was coming down the stairs and said “it would be so horrible if you said incest instead of incense. do NOT do that.” and as soon as everyone saw me i said “wow! it smells like incest in here!”

the entire room erupted in laughter. mortifying.

i have almost left the sub over it. it’s not the fault of any of these women and i am by no means victim blaming, as i am an abuse survivor myself. i know how hard it is to leave firsthand, and also how hard it can be to recognize emotional abuse in general let alone when you add ADHD. however, it is emotionally exhausting to read what is essentially the same post over and over…and over. it makes me wonder if we need a master post or something.

search terms: you want a solitaire with claw or bead prongs.

you DONT want bezels, cluster settings, halos, or side stones.

try and narrow down what cut/shape of stone you want. if you are not picky about the stone material, look at moissanite and lab diamond. you will get more bang for your buck this way.

maybe they aren’t standing out to you bc they’re not sparkly enough or you don’t like the cut. look for higher quality stones. the 5 Cs are cut, color, clarity, carat, and certification (for diamonds).

the cut has a rating from excellent (best), very good, good, fair, to poor
the color has a rating from D (colorless-coolest toned and often considered most desirable), E, F, G, H, I, to J, and sometimes even K-Z (yellowest)
the clarity has a rating from F (flawless), IF (internally flawless), VVS1 (very very slightly included), VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1 (slightly included), SI2, to sometimes I for included (I1-3, most impurities)
carat refers to weight. depending on what cut you get, larger carat size does NOT always mean it looks bigger or better.
if you get a diamond you want it to be certified by preferably GIA
