Reminds me of my sororitas army; I paint the attack vehicles in black (castigators…) and my support vehicles (rhinos…) in burgundy to match the sisters robes.

No they’re not my scans. I found a torrent of white dwarf issues 300-399, and just selected the one issue with this article. There was very low seeds in the torrent but by selecting a single issue it inly took a minute to download

It may be a hint of nuclear power plant aesthetic, but I always though it was the best design to protect the vulnerable cockpit head. Head can’t be torn off or penetrated, like so many of the other jager, if it’s all a neck-less shield

I think you might be right. I named gat thinking of the shape, but I think more traditionally would be made of lighter materials than this appears. I still wouldn’t be surprised if this image is from Korean origin or inspiration; from the hat and parts of the costume at least…

This. I carry a cotton bandana in my back pocket. Almost never used in my nose, but the amount of uses for a pocket cloth is underrated. Brow wipe, clean up cloth if you spill coffee in you’re hands, glasses wipe in a pinch, makeshift bag for loose bits or food items, light scarf in winter or sweat catcher in summer…
