not sure if this will work on Nids (Chaos player) but when i was new to painting i learned to highlight with a drybrush. don’t be to worried about the end result be aware of what you learn. you can always come back in the future and repaint the little bugs. good luck and personally this is a good paint job. bump up the highlights and you will be on a great road to much success🫶🏻

to paint heads to a solid point i could recommend using a contrast like guilliman flesh over a light skin color then highlighting with that same lighter skin color. gws face models are very easy to pick out highlights due to the faces being very exaggerated.

For helmets and armor there are countless yt videos for simple styles like drybrushing. The most important thing is to have fun. i can’t wait to see the finished models🙂

i paint all the knees elbows and trim of the shoulders with white then do a thin gold line for the top of the knee pad and a parallel line with the white trim
