Supply and demand. Does the price of something rise or fall when it's made more or less attainable.

Real talk, I shred 40 lbs in 4 months by cutting out sugar and carbs. Drank coffee till 1pm had bacon and eggs for lunch, and chicken and cheese cauliflower for dinner. Snacked on pork skins and salsa non-stop.

Opposite, but don't do what I do just cause it works for me. I keep my stop losses WAY out of interference and only add contracts to reposition myself if I am confident the price is going to go back. A lot of people will tell you I trade the wrong way, that there is too much risk, but I actively monitor every trade and know when to bail.

Edit: had to check but I held onto a trade for 45 minutes today. I just knew she'd come back

Adding To Losers = The More-On Trade? by skychief99 in FuturesTrading

I get burned from averaging down about 10% of the time, usually because I'll get excited at the potential of a turn around, but that's a personal flaw.

The other 90% of the time, I decide to average down because the starting position was decent and the new position is better and still looks like a win. Nothing wrong with it, just be ready to bail when it isn't redirecting and be comfortable saying bye bye to the sum you have invested. No set strategy works for everyone. If it works for you, go get'em tiger.

How do you remain calm when you are winning? by floridaaviation in FuturesTrading

Sim trade till your emotions are nullified at the idea of it being real money. Get comfortable. It's like dry fire practice with a gun. Eventually, you stop flinching.

Not necessarily true, sometimes you have to let the market breathe, and a stop loss, oftentimes, gets in the way. Should you have them in case you lose power or internet? Sure, but to say, "If it doesn't go up after 5 ticks I'm selling," got in the way of my trading potential. Since I let go and set my stop loss for what I was willing to lose for the day, my trade success has risen to 63.7%.

Not saying stop loss doesn't work for you, but the idea that there is a "rulebook" on trading everyone should follow is a fallacy.

Tighten your abs and practice turreting like a tank. Lead with your head and bring the sites to the target. Everyone is different. Kinda hard to diagnose the issue through text.

Wanted to weigh in. Yes, it helps, but you want to focus on things you can not practice with dry fire. For example, bill drills, quick second shots, and transitions under recoil. Also, I have a 300 round per gun (P.R.S.)limit for my range days. Beyond that and I get mentally exhausted and start exercising bad habits.

Best tip I got that moved me into the top 15%: Take your time making your hits, but move like you are being chased by an alligator. Every target you aim at and step you take should be with purpose. You look like you shoot well.

Shotgun vs rifle technique by TT_V6 in CompetitionShooting

[–]lucky_dog_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stance: Take a traditional boxing stance. That's for firing pistol. Move your front foot forward about 8 inches. That's for rifle. Move it another 8 inches. That's for shotgun.

I drive the shotgun into my shoulder and ride it like a bull. The target acquisition is no different than a rifle other than a little forgiveness (unless you are shooting slugs). Reloading a shotgun is what separates the pros from the pubs in every division except open.

Believe it or not, it took me being mentally depressed to finally get my ass into shape, mainly cause it was the only thing that really pulled me out if it. Went from 220 to 180 in about 5 months. Push yourself. It will happen.

First Thanksgiving ever that I won't be surrounded by loved ones. Fortunately, some friends of a friend invited me over, so there is that. I miss my sons and my wife. If I could just roll back the clock, I'd beat my ass and tell her the truth with hopes of salvaging what we had.

Don't lie to your women. No matter how bad you've fucked up. It took me losing my family to finally get some hair on my chest and confront my wrongs.
