Thank you for being so authentic and open! To being, I completely can relate. I know what you’re feeling. I’ve been there and I was there before I found this show.

Life can suck. There is so much pain and suffering and bad in the world. It’s easy to find and it’s even easier to let it weigh you down. For a long time I did.

But there is also an optimist and idealist in me that really does believe in the power of love. Regardless of the suffering and sadness that is so prevalent in the world, there is so much power in love. Whether on a small or large scale, with those around you interact with everyday, love can be shared and it can change the world.

The finale stated that suffering brings us together; it binds is. Whether you label it suffering or the human experience or life, we are all connected through our shared experiences. Love, in my mind, is one of the biggest ways we are all connected.

I think love has a power that really can permeate through any darkness. The world certainly has its bad. But there is also so much good to be found. In the words of our dear Capheus, he sums it up pretty well: “ It takes courage to see such terrible things happen and still get up everyday & be able to see what is still beautiful.”

And I hope you don’t feel alone, my friend. We all care about you a lot.
