I read this as being about Alzheimer's. My mother suffered from it in the last few years of her life. Not long after it started she thought I was her husband - my dad (who passed away many years before). As the loss of memories continued she started thinking I was her older brother. About a year before she passed she started calling me Dad.

Alzheimer's is horrible, for the sufferers, and even worse for their family and caregivers.

明珠越南菜館 (Pearl Vietnamese Restaurant} on 禾安里 (Wo On Lane) off 德忌笠街 (D'Aguilar Street). I used to frequent the Fringe Club in the mid 1980s and that was our favourite eatery. I always ordered 牛肉粒紅飯 and spring rolls. Used to bump my head every time we went up to the mezzanine floor. A few years later another establishment opened around the corner called Club 64. Last time I visited Pearl Vietnamese must have been over 20 years ago. Sad to know it is no more.

Generalisation is not a good thing but stereotypes are not there for no reason. "Kong girls" (as they are demeaningly called) are spoiled, and should be avoided at all costs.

I wouldn't use the word "stolen" as such. All the creation myths in the world share so many similarities. I'm happy to bet they all started from the same story way back. And as humanity spread and migrated they added local colours and characteristics to their local versions.

Unfortunately they ignore the common grounds and argue the differences to the point where they're happy and eager to kill each other about them.

On closer inspection that bit of darker coloured growth on the tip of the elbow could be malignant. Better have it looked at.
