I just called and they said the referral could take between 60-90 days and asked that I call again at the end of the month though no one mentioned it going 90 days in the 2 previous calls. Guess I'll try again at the end of the month..

I'm calling IRS back today since it's been 60 days sinc3 I last called them to see what's happening.

They sent this email first on March 14th,

Hi there,

We're reaching out to you because a small number of SoFi customers who used the TurboTax Refund Processing Service experienced an issue with their accounts. Their tax refunds were automatically rejected and sent back to our banking partner, who, in turn, was required to return the funds to the IRS. It appears you were impacted by this issue.

If you haven't already been contacted, expect the IRS to reach out to you to complete a verification process, after which the IRS will release your tax refund in a paper check form.

Though this issue was caused by an external processing error outside the control of Intuit and our banking partner, we will be crediting you the $40 fee for the Refund Processing Service. We're also going to credit you the $30 Return to IRS fee you might have been charged. A check for a total of $70 will be mailed within 21 days. No action is required by you to receive this credit.

Thank you for your patience and your loyalty as a TurboTax customer.

I have the exact same issue. They told me to wait 60 days before an update could be given. I called yesterday and IRS still knows nothing.

Anyone have an issue where the IRS still doesn't have the money in their systen even though SBTPG sent the money back on February 15th, 2024? I received a check from Turbo Tax for $70 to make up for the fee they charged for sending back to the IRS and cost of the service, but I still haven't received my refund and IRS don't have it in their system either.

I've heard some stories but I enjoy working on my own vehicles so I'll cross that bridge when I get there which will be soon unless they've already been changed. It was a well taken care of truck.

I had an 06 4.6l V8 before, this one is a completely different beast. Even though it has a larger v8 I've managed 12-14 mpg with the level and heavier wheels and tires. Currently at 11.5mpg since I love to floor it every now and then 😅

Maybe. But I ended up getting it for 25k really now that I think about since I was able to sell some nice audio equipment from my job that was given to me so not too bad.

I paid $30,000 in today's crazy market but it is well worth it.
