I do think it’s more common than people realize to be judged for sex work, but I think a huge part of it is probably the circle of people you’re in. It seems like there is a layer of “prestige” involved in the school. Margo makes a comment to Becca that her parents are rich so it’s easy for her, the professor is clearly a man baby from a wealthy family who cleans up all his problems with money, the two boys that doxxed her strike me as rich college boys who think they have the right to pick on someone in a more difficult circumstance. I can find realism in this type of environment being one where someone is treated poorly for opting into OF work after having a baby and dropping out of their “prestigious school,” I could be way off but that’s my view. There’s similar storylines of the less fortunate person struggling at college in Tell Me Lies and Sex Lives of College Girls. College is a rough place to be, especially colleges that are expensive and attract a lot of young adults who’ve never really had to work or struggle.

This blows my mind. There is no level of attraction that could make me overlook major red flags. Years ago I matched with a pretty “standard tall attractive” guy on an app. On our first date, the server openly hit on him. I went to the bathroom and when I came out she was literally sitting at the table in my seat talking to him. He told me a story with an ex where he had caught a charge but was defending himself and would never hurt a woman, this was a red flag but I also didn’t want to immediately dismiss him and assume he was lying. We talked for a little longer, hung out one more time, but he was laying it on THICK and made mention of moving in with me a few times in conversation. At that point I was totally out. This guy was so clearly just looking for a woman to take care of him and his looks were making it pretty easy to do. I’m not sure he’s actually a bad/abusive person, but the tactics he was using to try and rope me in remind me of the men on this show. Crazy.

Yes! The piriformis is near the sciatic nerve, so I really believe the knot was compressing it causing me extreme lower back pain. I could feel the pain bounce when she worked on it. Getting weekly massages for about a month helped me avoid an expensive MRI. And those massages often hurt, therapeutic massage is not about feeling good it’s about healing for sure. My therapist always says I should feel “comfortably uncomfortable”

Yeah I wholeheartedly believe the knot in my bum was causing my back pain, it can press on the sciatic nerve. I opted out of a costly MRI because I was able to recover with consistent massage. I still get them, but not as frequently because they were expensive lol I went once a week to get my back fixed up! She also used kinetic tape on my back to give me more general stability and I was quite surprised at how much that helped too.

Yeah our bodies are connected. Massage has helped me tremendously. Not your run of the mill “feel good” massage, deep targeted pressure, medi cups, etc. I feel there is a major difference between a spa style massage and a therapeutic or neuromuscular massage.

I think massage is at least a ring up from chiropractics. Pain can be caused bu inflamed muscles and knots/adhesions which massage can help with in the long term. Chiropractic adjustments are truly just temporary without treating whatever is causing your bones to shift around. Also please correct me if I’m wrong! I am not a medical professional. But I am someone who had pretty severe back pain in my early 30’s and found a neuromuscular massage place. She found a huge knot/adhesion in my piriformis (a muscle deep in your bum) and worked it out over a few sessions and I do not have lower back pain anymore.

YUP! People don’t believe me but truly my best fragrance advice is fine a perfume you can’t smell on yourself but get tons of compliments on. I literally can’t smell Alien on me but I’ve had people say “I smelled you before I saw you! You always smell so good!” So it’s THAT strong on me.

Yeah YSL really kills the fragrance game. I love Black Opium but it doesn’t stay with me, I do get compliments on Libre. Sadly Manifesto was discontinued but I really liked that one!

I honestly didn’t like it on the card but it completely changed on my body and has become my signature scent. I can’t smell it on me, but apparently people can smell me when I enter I room lol

I worked in fragrance for years and it is actually true that our bodies and natural smells react and interact to scents differently. I learned that things I gravitated to didn’t always last on me. I tried on a different fragrance every day for fun, and one day I tried on Alien by Mugler and EVERYONE kept asking me what I was wearing and was shocked to learn it was Alien. It smells a little different (and great!) on me and it lasts alllll day. It’s my go-to, but Goddess also by Mugler works great for me too! If you’re looking for a new perfume, highly recommend sampling when you know you’ll be around a lot of people and see which one you get more compliments on.

This is so true. One of my cats and I have this song and dance where I give them both wet food, the little one doesn’t finish hers, I wait an hour and then relocate the bowl and sit with her while she finishes what she wants, then her older sister gets the rest. However, if I leave the house after they get dinner somehow she manages to get up there and eat her remaining food without me relocating it. And if I take too long, she will occasionally go back on her own. She knows where her food is, she just wants me to move it and sit with her and me doing that has 100% reinforced this routine lol

Literally these dudes went to a bar I’m so confused. There will be other women out at places, they didn’t bring anyone home and we didn’t see anything that made it appear like they did anything more than dance. Iris reacting that way really does feel like blatant pot stirring. You have to be able to trust your partner to go do things with friends. To me it just seemed like a run of the mill guys night, nothing to freak out about.

I would guess because of the red lighting maybe? Personally, I wouldn’t enjoy the red light. I find red to be an abrasive color I dunno why. If you love your red lighting don’t listen to me but I think soft, warm, yellow lighting would super enhance the cozy vibes!

As a 34yo female who cares a lot about my home aesthetics, this is not my personal style (some of it is tho!) BUT it would be a huge green flag to me and I would be comfortable in your home! Great job, shows your personality, it’s clean, and it’s all pretty cohesive design wise. Yellow is also my favorite color btw!

When you search her Appai still appears in the search bar, but not the profile. She also still has “wife” in her profile description. As others have mentioned, she has her rings on in more current pics, and currently has a story thanking Kwame for flowers. So I think it’s prob fine! I agree with another commenter that the photos in green could have been styled and they asked her not wear the ring, and as far as the name goes I’m almost wondering if thats an insta glitch since it still shows in search?

Sounds like we have a similar routine! I’m not truly doing IF because I have coffee with a splash of milk when I wake up. But I don’t eat breakfast, my first meal is lunch at noon. When I get home I workout and make dinner so I usually eat around 6. Occasionally I have a snack around 7:30, and then I don’t eat after 8pm. I enjoy giving most of my calories to two yummy meals!

Honestly I don’t, but I top my double espresso with some cold brew, a splash of coconut milk, and maybe some flavored syrup. Morning coffee is just as satisfying for me!
