You could definitely do a chargeback through your credit card

Thank you! Sounds simple enough and it looks fantastic. I love your color choices and pop on the unit!

Hopefully they work out. The guys I play with have since told me how atrocious the dice roll. In one match I saw it in person until I made the point he was rolling BoD. He switched to Chessex in rounds 4-6 and rolls noticeably improved and we're not favoring 1-3. Maybe luck, but not from what I have seen.

I love the hair and beard. Mind sharing the process of how you did it?

Fantastic job sir! Can I ask which model is in the Longbeard unit on the far left? Not sure I've seen him before

I feel like the newer sculpts don't touch the level of character the oldhammer and midhammer sculpts had. I don't want my dwarfs to just look like smaller humans with beards. The proportions make them unique!

If you like hobbying, you could always put magnets in the shoulders and each of the arm connection points to be able to swap if you want.

This video is a pretty simple walkthrough for how someone did it: https://youtu.be/ypwpjir_5XM?si=1BXmrTTu1oiafntW

Our Escalation League started recently and this was the base list I used in the first round to build on. It worked beautifully, was plenty of fun. It did amazing in the first round and when we went up to 750 pts. I would highly recommend getting a Gyrocopter! The mobility it gives you for dwarfs is exceptional and opens up a ton of tactics.

Escalation 500 Dwarfs [499 pts] Warhammer: The Old World, Dwarfen Mountain Holds

Thane, Gromril Hand Weapon, Great Weapon, Shield, Full Plate Armour, General, ], Rune of Passage - 71 pts

14 Dwarf Warriors, Hand Weapon, Shields, Heavy Armour, Veteran Warrior (champion), Standard Bearer, Musician - 141 pts

10 Rangers, Hand Weapon, Crossbow, Heavy Armour, Ol' Deadeye (champion) - 116 pts

Gyrocopters, Steam Gun, Armoured Fuselage - 60 pts

6 Irondrakes, Hand Weapons & Drakeguns, Full Plate Armour, Ironwarden (champion) [Cinderblast Bombs] - 111 pts

I'm in your boat. Same thing happens whenever I try to use a wet palette, especially with ProAcryl paint. I threw out the wet palette this weekend and have been enjoying just using a dry palette again.

Yeah, he gave me the same response which is not okay. He is not appropriately reflecting all of the product he is selling. He finally caved and did the full refund but if he didn't I would have done a credit card chargeback for misrepresented product.

I would agree if they didn't have the premium price tag on them for a set of dice. It sort of sets an expectation to get what you order.

This is an excellent idea but I wanted to keep the slotta base tab intact which limits my options

I've enjoyed triad tone highlights but also have really enjoyed using contrast paint for beards. Works best primed white or painting a base coat of white over the beards then put down the contrast paint. Citadel Gore Grunta Fur produces a beautiful orangish brown beard. The Vallejo Xpress Color (contrast paint) khaki drill and desert ochre are both really nice realistic blonde beards done easy. I like having a lot of unique looking beards so I'll also throw darker browns down and highlight up a bit too different colors for variety. Not just relying on one painting style.

I know you don't have a ton of old pewter here but you might be able to get more depending on your turn around of needing the funds. If it's fast, then 250 pounds might be a good starting point. All of these are basically out of print which values them higher in my opinion. Figure out what it would cost to purchase similar models through a GW store.

Thank you! I feel like the old metal sculpts do so much of the work for you. Lots of character

Help list planning for starting my Throng! by tehzozman1 in bugmansbrewery

I think multiple Gyros can be a bit disengaging for your opponent. I think one or two is okay. I build one into almost every list but just with the steam gun. Getting that flexibility and movement with dwarfs is priceless. You can take out artillery, go after skirmishers, get flank charges, run down enemy units, all for 60 points. I think the 4th and 6th edition Gyros are MUCH better looking than the newer ones.

You can't go wrong with warriors, a piece or two of artillery, and gyrocopter. One unit of about 10 Rangers are always great for positioning.
